This inclusive program welcomes learners from all walks of life. The performance-based admissions process serves capable learners who are ready to start their next educational journey without tests, application fees, or other hurdles. Complete three short courses (Competitive Strategy, Managerial Economics: Buyer and Seller Behavior, and Mastering Excel Essentials to Enhance Business Value) with at least a B in each course, provide proof of your bachelor's degree, and you’ll be accepted to the program.
When you complete these programs, you may have learning recognized for credit toward this degree, if you are admitted and enroll.¹

Yes, Illinois Tech’s online M.B.A. students are welcome to visit our commuter-friendly campuses—the historic Mies Campus in Bronzeville or the downtown Chicago campus within Conviser Law Center, which is a block away from Union Station—at any time to meet faculty or staff in person, tour facilities, use the library, or attend events.
Illinois Tech’s online M.B.A. students are welcome to submit a photo that meets the stated requirements and receive a HawkCard (Illinois Tech Student ID). After the photo has been approved and the HawkCard produced, you can arrange to have the card mailed to you by emailing the Campus Business Services Center; the process is not automatic.
In general, transfer between the in-person MBA program and the online Coursera MBA program is not allowed; if you would like to appeal for further consideration, please email MBA-support@iit.edu.
