Ready to finish your bachelor's degree?

Your hard work counts. If you have at least 30 credit hours from an accredited institution, you can finish your degree with the University of North Texas (UNT).

UNT’s Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (B.A.A.S.) program is designed to streamline your path to a fully accredited bachelor’s degree by making it easy to transfer course work you’ve previously completed for technical, applied, or U.S. military credit. You can even request credit for certain programs you’ve completed on Coursera!

Put your military experience to work

For active duty military, reserve military, or veterans of the army, navy, marine corps and coast guard your concentration may consist of credit awarded for formal training received in the service. Please send your Joint Services Transcript directly to UNT Admissions for credit review. You may also submit your DD-214 to UNT for 4 credit hours of physical education.

How to request recognition of prior learning

If you’ve completed one or more of the following programs on Coursera, you may also be eligible to have your prior learning recognized for credit for lower-level courses toward this degree. Recognition of prior learning can help you lower the cost and earn your degree faster based on the number of credits approved upon enrollment.¹

Worried about finding time for your degree? The UNT B.A.A.S program is offered online with 8-week asynchronous courses that are designed to adapt to your schedule and commitments.
