This is a program to support U.S. federal government workers and contractors impacted by recent workforce changes. On the registration page, you will be asked to select which government agency you worked for previously and provide your LinkedIn profile URL as proof of employment. Coursera reserves the right to remove learners from the program at any point who do not meet the eligibility criteria.

Coursera is offering free unlimited enrollments to support 5,000 federal workers through the end of the year. Once the 5,000 limit is reached, learners can still enroll at a highly subsidized rate of 40%.

Learners with free access will have unlimited access to the program’s courses and resources from the date of enrollment until December 31, 2025. Learners with discounted access will receive 40% off a year of unlimited access to Coursera Plus ($240 for 12 months, regularly $399). Learners will retain lifelong access to certificates earned during the period.

After you register, you will receive an email with instructions and a web link allowing you to enroll in the program.

Yes, you'll receive digital certificates for each course or certificate you complete. Many of our courses, Specializations, and Professional Certificates offer industry-recognized certifications.

At this point in time, this program supports impacted U.S. federal workers impacted by recent workforce changes, including U.S. federal government workers and contractors stationed overseas. If you were employed by a non-US government organization, you can still sign up for Coursera and explore courses on the platform.
