Betsy is a trained secondary school teacher and has worked in Learning for Sustainability in the UK and overseas for public and voluntary sector organisations for more than 30 years.

Currently she is Development Manager for Learning for Sustainability Scotland – Scotland’s United Nations recognised Regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development – a network of organisations and individuals working to harness the full potential of learning to create a flourishing, sustainable world.
