Dr. Sajan Kapil teaches Sustainable Manufacturing at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. His research interests include Manufacturing Automation, CNC, Rapid Manufacturing (3D Printing), Welding/Cladding Processes, etc. Dr. Kapil holds a masters from IIT Guwahati and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. He has published numerous works on modern manufacturing processes including hybrid layered manufacturing, electron beam based additive manufacturing and cold-rolling processes.
