I am an Assistant Professor in Economics at the University of Naples Federico II and research fellow at the Centre for the Study of Economics and Finance (CSEF). My research focuses on business and social networks in development economics, at their intersections with public policy interventions and state institutions (courts, tax authority). I am working on firm network formation and network change, and information sharing through networks, as well as judicial efficiency for formal dispute resolution, and firm's supply-chain networks and tax compliance. I bring together expertise in various empirical methods - network analysis, design of RCTs, non-experimental approaches - with strong experience in generating and working with a broad range of data sources, from original field surveys to large administrative datasets. I have worked for the Development Impact Evaluation Initiative (DIME) at the World Bank in Washington, DC, and consult for the World Bank, the European Commission and the International Trade Center on impact evaluation research. I did my PhD at the Paris School of Economics.
