I hold a PhD in Rhetoric and Composition Theory from the University of South Florida. I've been teaching literacy, communication, and writing studies since 2003. When not teaching I love to SCUBA dive, paddleboard and kayak, and hike with my family and my Formosan Mountain Dog, Mario. I love all things sci-fi and am a huge Star Wars fan.
