Anand Shekhar is a PhD candidate in Finance area at the Bayes Business School, University of London. He completed his PGP (MBA) with major in Finance from Indian School of Business where he graduated in the Dean’s list. His research interests lie in corporate finance, corporate governance and financial intermediation. He has won a research grant from Developmental Research Group at Securities and Exchange Board of India for his work on share pledging. Anand has also won the prestigious OP Jindal Engineering and Management Scholarship (OPJEMS) and is a GE Foundation Scholar Leader. Anand worked with JSW Group in their leadership program with stints in project finance and MD’s office. Anand completed his engineering with major in Mechanical Engineering along with a minor in Finance from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani Campus as a merit scholarship awardee (top 3% in batch)
