Bio

Prof. Ram B Ramchandran teaches courses at the intersection of Technology, Finance, Management, and Entrepreneurship. Their current teaching and research interests focus on topics related to Artificial Intelligence, FinTech/Blockchain, and Digital Currency. Their research also explores the transformative nature of AI and FinTech across industries, as well as the influence of EdTech startups on the education sector. Before joining academia, he was a senior executive with over thirty-five years of experience in building and leading global consulting practices and high-growth businesses across the financial services and retail industries. They assisted several Fortune 100 financial services firms, including Citigroup, Bank of America, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, and JP Morgan Chase, with their risk, regulatory, and customer agendas. Most recently, he served as the Managing Director at Ernst & Young in New York, where they were responsible for driving Data & Analytics, Robotics Process Automation, and IoT solutions for clients. With over thirty years of international experience, they led global consulting practices across the US, Europe, Asia, and India. Their articles have been published in reputed international and Indian industry magazines. Prof. Ramchandran holds an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York, a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Madras, and a certificate in FinTech from MIT. They are currently pursuing a Ph.D. from the International School of Management, Paris.
