Mary C. Sheehan, PhD MPH, is Associate Faculty at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Lecturer at Pompeu Fabra University, where she teaches and carries out research on climate change and health policy; she also coordinates Climate Healthy Cities at the Barcelona Public Policy Center, and is Director of Planet Hydra, a climate change and health policy research organization. Prior to this, Dr. Sheehan held various positions over two decades at the World Bank where her work focused on improving urban environmental infrastructure and policy, including through city-focused development funds, in low- and middle-income countries. Dr. Sheehan received her MPH and PhD in environmental health risk management from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, as well as an MA in international natural resource economics from the Fletcher School, Tufts University.
