This course was totally mind-blowing to me, being a completely new domain and focus of study for me. A very nice introductory course to Cybersecurity that highlights what goes on in the minds of these threat hunters (Hackers). How the internet evolved, hacking as a process, the various effects of the actions of these cyber criminals on the state and private institutions, and how to address them.

Excellent course. Having been on the human side of intelligence for many years, this was eye opening...and a bit dismaying. There's a whole new world for me in CI. Thank you for this excellent intro, fantastic reading materials, and the opportunity to create a product. On to my next course!

I love that this course takes you through the introduction of computers and technology and how these work so you have a good idea of what hacking, cyber and security are all about. The lectures are clear and the references are a great tool in expanding cyber knowlegde.

It's preety good as refresher course or entry into a new knowledge area. The tutor delivery was excellent by Professor Charles Harry and his approach of transmitting knowledge suits me . Thank you University of Maryland. The completion leaves me seeking more knowledge.

The course helps me a lot of. I did not know or have any idea what Cyber Security is. After taking this course, I got a basic understanding about cyber security. Thank you, Coursera and University of Maryland and all the staff who make this course possible.

If you are a beginner or intermediate learner of computer software engineering or if you just want to know more about cyber security, this is an excellent, in-depth start. Some topics covered may need to study again, but this course is just what I needed.

Great course to take if you are interested in the industry or want to understand more about the topic. Course has a great format. Tangible information, and pretty good in terms of presenting the basics. Would highly recommend. Really cool final project

It's a pretty good entry level course and taught me more than I initially thought it would. Also my first Coursera course as well. The material here is good though the reading could be a lot less. I learned more from the videos than I did the reading.

In a constantly connected world, this useful course is even more essential. By better understanding cyber threats, some adjustments in technology use will benefit your life and your business. Highly recommended for students in any field.

The course is an excellent compilation for learning about cyber security for people of varying backgrounds. No specific technical know how is required to learn from the course. It serves as a wonderful start to my learning path.

Loved it!! Really enjoyed the final project and the peer review element, it made me learn more about the topic by looking at someone else's work on a different chosen threat actor. Now I want to learn more about Cybersecurity!
