What a concise and informative course! I was fascinated while learning it. And I really like the way Dr. Shane conveyed the lessons: clear voice and bright facial expressions

Loved the course. The videos were engaging and informative. The Essential Question assignments were thought-provoking. I learned wonderful new skills that I am keen to apply.

Amazing. I love the ways Dr. Shane Dixon teaches us because he gave us lots of virtual examples. I also love summary videos because it helps me generalize the whole insights.

It was very good experience to attend ASU online classes. I have learnt a lot. I would also like to attend next courses.

Solid, but does not always provide adequate knowledge for future courses. Dramatic visuals instructors use to try to keep students engaged can sometimes be annoying to watch.

It is a very basic course. It is very useful if you are just starting with the TESOL world, but you may want to skipped it if you have some background knowledge in the field.

Excellent foundation course; particularly helpful was the use of metaphors. The weekly essays were thoughtful statements that encouraged reflection on what had been learned.

I really enjoyed this course. The analogies used are very helpful, and the source materials for the extra readings are amazing, especially "The Affective Filter Hypothesis".

I have learned a lot from this course. Though much that were taught in this course had already been tackled in my college, I liked the way the concepts are being presented.
