Excellent instructor and well designed modules!

Very important course for those of us aspiring to go into teaching in the medical and health professions. The content is very rich with so much information and skills development assignments and quizzes. Though very tasking, one needs to fully concentrate in order to understand and follow the instructor. Much has been learned from the course on how to impart knowledge to new learners and old learners alike. I would recommend the course to all aspiring instructors in the health professions. Thank you University of Michigan and the instructor Prof. Stalburg, you know your subject very well

It was an excellent course especially for someone with limited experience in teaching like me. It opens my eyes, on an important psychological issues need to be considered while dealing with novice learner. In addition to that how to bridge the gap between your learner especially those who have good background knowledge. Finally how to incorporate technology in your teaching. So you can make some changes in your classroom which will be more tempting for the young generation.

I recently completed this exceptional online course on Instructional Methods in Health Professions Education, and it was truly an incredible journey. The course structure was meticulously crafted, providing me with precisely the knowledge I sought, while the content itself remained incredibly pertinent. The delivery of the course was remarkably professional, meeting all my expectations. It was exactly the kind of experience I had been longing for.

Dr Stalburg is a warm, very articulate teacher and I really enjoyed taking her course. I learned a lot of pedagogical concepts behind the kind of teaching that is carried out in medical education institutes and am more confident in being creative with the way in which I can conduct interactive student-oriented teaching going forward. This is a high-quality course with a great overview of the pedagogies, educational theory, techniques and technologies for teaching health care professionals. Dr Stahlberg is a super lecturer, the learning resources are excellent, and the platform is quite user-friendly

Very well-organized self-paced course with lots of information not only from the materials but also from the discussion boards and peer-assessment. The course encourages you to self-reflect and assess your current practice and reflect on how to improve.

This course was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Dr. Stahlberg is a great presenter and the lectures were thorough but manageable time lengths. The assignments were pertinent to the lectures and the quizzes were concise.

This was a great course I could complete at my own pace. Lectures a short, well-planned and model best practices taught. There are useful resources and opportunities for peer interaction within a MOC format.

The instructor "practices what they preach" and makes the learning happen in a fun way - punctuated by videos, stories and relevant examples. Very practical if you're teaching in the health professions.
