Overall it is a great introductory course, I think that the videos with the developer from Meta were a great addition. Some important topics (Xcode Build System, core files as AppDelegate, SceneDelegate, ViewController, Info.plist) are only briefly reviewed.

Also, I might be wrong (I hope so) but, it gave me the impression that the lady was reading a prompt or script most of the time and didn't have complete domain of most of the technical topics. Don't get me wrong, having a developer explaining these topics to beginners would make it easier to find references, examples, etc. because they will find a way to explain it like a 4th grade teacher, it will feel more natural and it would be easier for students. Still recommended 100%

Me pareció un curso bastante sencillo, quizá muy enfocado en la parte teórica más que en la práctica, lo cual no es necesariamente malo ya que para comenzar a "meter las manos" en el desarrollo de aplicaciones, es necesario aprender las bases y dedicar un tiempo en aprender conceptos y definiciones básicas. Me pareció bien organizada la información, aunque debo advertir que para alguien que no tiene NADA de conocimientos básicos de programación, tal vez le sea bueno leer un poco sobre lógica de programación antes de embarcarse en este curso, ya que esta parte se da por sentada en el curso.

Great introductory course. I loved learning the building blocks of iOS app development. My one contention is the lack of explanation given when it came time to write code for the AVPlayer. I wanted to better understand the definition of each line of code and its purpose - instead of being force fed the information at a quick pace.

I felt this course did a great job laying the groundwork for iOS development. I ran into a few hiccups, such as quiz questions that asked for information that hadn't been presented in the course yet, but overall the content is presented in a deliberate and easy-to-absorb fashion.

For absolute beginners. I will say this is useful. It think technical recruiters use take this course if they are recruiting iOS developers and most of them lack basic knowledge in this space. There are a few gotcha questions but it wasn't bad.

l loved the course so much and i hope complete the rest of courses in the specialization

i learnet about import statement and how to use UIKit,AVKit, what is UIView,appDelegate

I think it is great for begginers, although, I feel that the programming part of the course it on the basic side, it can be more challenging. Keep up the good work!!

This is a great fundamentals course that provides learning objectives that can be applied quickly to those interested in mobile application development for iOS.

Great course overall but goes too fast in terms of the first asigment regarding the basics of swift code. Hope this gets a more focus part in the second part

to complete last exercise, i have to take help of google to complete it. because video was fast and it was not expLAINED WELL.

for me All that lacks in this first course is a virtual machine to test skills without caring about having a mac book computer

A few example projects and use-cases would've been nice. Otherwise a good course for absolute beginners in mobile development!

Great but there is a bug in Module 3 Create the Player video at 4:22 that is corrected without notifying the watcher.

Good beginner course. Some of the material was incorrect or out of date. There were also some grammatical errors.

Thanks of meta the content are clear and everyone can learn just he/she need to spend enough time to learn it.

This course include some basic IOS development concepts, a little bit easy for people with coding experience.

I think is more technical for new students that no have idea what a programming or function is.

I got a little confused in module 3 by the video sequences, but overall it was okay.

Some information seems like a filling to lengthen the course.
