This is an excellent course, which provides insights into how mathematicians think about proofs. The exercises are not hard, but they do require careful thought. This is a well constructed course.

It is nice to see connections among mathematical theories, and this course it is very well designed to accomplish this. I highly recommend if you want to improve your mathematical skills.

I completed the first 8 weeks of the course and overall the course was good. However I did not want to continue on with test flight. Since I did not continue on with the test flight I was not able to receive any certificate of completion. A couple years back I did the same thing and I DID receive a certificate. This time you can only receive a certificate if you complete all the test flight and peer evaluation. I wasted 75 bucks on a certicate request. Course is good but the Coursera certificate program stinks.

A more mathematical approach to Formal Logic. Good alternative to Intro to Logic (also from Stanford) for STEM students if they don't like the format of Intro to Logic.

You need to find a way to break down the topics for better understanding especially for people who have no prior knowledge of the topic.

The course is good but I thought the main reason to do it would be improce my math skills.
I think I'm not prepared do do it.

El instructor obvia muchas cosas, dando por hecho un nivel de conocimiento, que es avanzado, aunque él menciona que es "básico". Curso muy largo, pudo darse en dos cursos

It's really good and interesting, but I wish the test flight was optional.

Quiz questions do not specify when more than one selection is called for, leading to failures of quizzes, wasting time. Is it really too much to ask to specify "(select all answers that apply)". Quite a lazy presentation.

Teacher hand writes many things that are too small to see even on large screen. Not taught well. Hope this is not typical. I lost my money but want to try another choice.

I disagree with the way the rubrics are designed. It should be called "Think as I Do It"
