This course gives you a complete insight into the communication and managerial techniques put into practice in the creation of the most important sporting mega event in the world. You will learn about the essentials of television production, programming strategies and television rights management of the Olympic Games. At the same time, you will gain valuable knowledge about the fundamentals of communication via social media and of the Olympic culture which is so closely connected with classic culture and humanism. It is very useful to learn things related to the organization of the Olympics. Starting from the creation, broadcasting rights, sponsors and its history including rituals and symbols.

I have learnt alot about the different media used in the Olympics. It is so unfortunate that the Japan Games will be postponed. Will just have to wait another year to appreciate what I have learnt. Thank you for the lessons!

Far too easy, I am an accredited journalist for a number of Olympic Games and SportAccord -- I finished all 5 weeks in a total of 3.5 hours. Should be more challenging. Should be more up-to-date -- only one instance toward the end of week 5 did we see the date 2020 used.

The speaker has a really bad level of English and the content is fairly basic. It is true that you get a good amount of knowledge on the Olympics but it is not worth paying for it.
