Qwiklabs absolutely ruins it, laggy, won't save properly save upon completion, making you do the same vm 3 or 4 times, keyborad inputs aro not correct while using it, even had to ask for remote assistance during vm, an absolute nightmare!!!! Everything else was ok, a bit repetitive, due to the instructor being the same for every single video.

Be mindful of the weaknesses in the week 6 qwiklab. The instructions don't match the exercise given. For instance "click on _____ folder"... but that folder doesn't actually exist or isn't set up in the practice exercise. There is no one to actually talk to to help you troubleshoot. You are on your own. Qwiklab help isn't helpful at all.

The course jumps around too much.

Some of the quiz questions contradict the information in the course material, some are just broken, some are just plain old incorrect.

The qwiklabs are a waste of time, as there is no testing involved, it is all guided to the point you cannot fail.

The topics covered are the sorts of things a child could do.

garbage course. awful labs. You need to figure how to make these labs a lot better. all the labs do are make me angry. The labs are so disconnected from the lessons. I had 50 tabs open and 30 pages of notes and still was having issues with the last labs. If you don't make labs more interactive then people are just gonna quit.

It is just a primer. This will get you a job in the chat-box helping people perhaps. Very unhappy worst $40 I ever spent. I have had zero job responses even from employers since taking this course. If Coursera can find me a job in this field granted the chat-box is all it qualifies you for then I will re-write this review.

This course is a waste of money! I feel like I just was cheated out of $100 bucks. With the large amount of bugs and errors in the information and during graded assessments, this course should be free or refunded. Sad way to take money from highly interested and committed customers. Deserves no stars.

The courses truly are an expensive version of free information you can find online, there was no additional value that any of these courses offered than any other learning outlet would have.

It is seriously putrid that that any of these courses are being lauded as a worthwhile endeavor.

instrcutor speaks too fast, leaving less time to take notes, have to review several times. Lots of the command is not explained, has to google for actual usage such as scp commands. Instructor spoke too much irrelavant words, influencing the learning process negatively.

Heavily relies on third part apps for grading, problem is the third part app can wipe your entire progress the next day.... complete waste of time and money if you cannot proceed with a unreliable format.

Customer support isnt helpful either from qwiklabs or coursera.

The information is good, but using Qwiklabs modules is very inefficient. There are times when it doesn't work and Coursera doesn't take responsibility for that and instead makes you complain to Qwiklabs, which never seems to solve the problem in a timely matter.

There were allot of technical Lab and the Content issues including the teacher expression and the face Behavior with were not matched it was a really tough and challengeable course i do not like the contents and the teacher methodology regarding this course.

The labs are absolutely broken. I can't finish the course because I can't pass 3 of the labs because the instructions are not working with the lab or the score doesn't update when activities are completed. I'm paying for this for some reason.

The transcripts are a disgrace. They appear to the audio from the video lecture converted to text using a very poor quality speech to text converter. In this course, there are many commands that need to be better documented for the student.

The Linux portions of this course were very difficult to complete. Some of them had glitches that made it impossible to do and I had to reach out to QwikLabs to reset my attempts. Pay very careful attention to every single step!

Labs are unclear to the point that following the instructions very closely can still prevent success in this course. Particularly, the lab on partitioning disks in linux is a catastrophe compare to the other labs in this course.

Broken exam, I would have gotten 100 if not for poor execution of this assessment. When you update vlc the system does not recognize that it is installed from the power shell even though the program will launch without issue.

I am facing a problem at this course.I can't do the qwiklabs.It shows that my credentials is not working.Then what to do?My course deadline is April 19.I have not enough time please help me.And yes,I am windows 10 user.

the labs keep NOT working and i cannot move through this damn course at any accelerated course or rate of speed...the labs keep stumbling and are bullshit and there is no qualified help to help with the problems. im done

Had many issues

iI took the tests a few times ( actually had to have it reset) because it would not mark it as complete

At the end of the test it would tell me it is complete but the course remained not complete

The Qwiklab remote desktop sessions are the worst programs in the history of online learning especially this module along with all the program. too basic Google should have partnered with EDx on this certification

Awful course, week 4 and week 6 projects don't even work worst, learning experience ever, please fix this for students in the future, make something better please, can't even get my certificate for this course.

The directions on this module are absolutly trash!!!!!!!! I have been in the IT field for 17 years and the directions you have provided are garbage and do not work!! This module neeeds a complete overhaul!!!!!

Im not sure anyone will read this but I struggled alot and I believe that if we were able to move along and do the steps on our own with the instructor in the background it would be more beneficial to some .

No stars, support has not helped me with connection to Linux/u/nix server for me to continue. All they do is send the instructions over and over again. I've been on the same issue for over a month. WHY?

This course taught me nothing about Linux Bash commands, no opportunity to practice or retain through repetition. Just Cindy, glossing over commands in her terminal. I can't believe I paid for this.
