The course has strengthened my job search. Its making my foundation stronger to be a Project Manager. The videos are amazing and the examples are very relatable. Having the glossary also helped a lot as I would have to prepare it myself. The main learning is it tells if one wishes to be Project Manager they can always learn these skills and pursue their dream. I really enjoyed this course. Since it is a 'Foundations' class, it provides a high level overview of project management, without too much unnecessary industry jargon or lingo. I appreciate that the course does an excellent job stating and reinforcing the critical aspects of project management on an introductory basis. The designers of this class should be commended for putting together an excellent course - this Foundations class clearly lays the groundwork for future and more in-depth topics on project management.

A well-done course. I like that this introductory course laid the foundation of what project management is all about that has less to do with the hard skills like responsibility matrices, budgets, and deliveralbles. But instead, it makes it crystal clear that success in project management has so much to do with the flawless execution of the soft skills like effective communication, interpersonal skills, and team collaboration. I feel like it delivered a well-rounded perspective on project management at a 10K ft view.

for a beginner its like heaven, This course teaches you like a teacher not forcing anything and all it needs a little consideration and consistency to be regular and its a piece of cake. This was a great course! I tried the PMI course first, but they assume you have a lot of knowledge in the project management industry. There were a lot of things that I did not know, and I felt overwhelmed. This course started off with the basics and boosted my confidence. I loved the clarity of the speakers, the real world examples, and the articles added for continued knowledge. I will continue with all 6 of these courses and any more like this. I'm delighted to have this course offered by Google through Coursera. I found out about it through the course. near me. I appreciate the format and set up of the course. The videos are very well done. who take the course and we get to view and hear their interaction. I'm extremely interested in project management course and you won't find a better way of learning . A helpful aspect is that you can save notes, repeat parts of the videos, and you have written text to follow if you like along with the videos'.

As a newcomer to the Project Management world, I really enjoyed and appreciated all of the conributing instructers experiences. I realized that being a PM is essentially what we all have been doing within our daily lives, on our jobs, in school ect... I was blown away at the fact that Google gave many of their employees who have done teaching videos the opportunity to be a part of the Project Management team minus college degrees. It's truly inspiring and helped me to engage more intensly into the course.

I am really greatfull for this course. I can't imagine how much work was invested in this project. The biggest advantages:

all information divided in blocks;

all terms are explained in a proper and clear manner;

it is great that there are different ways of presenting information - video/text/case/quiz;

Additionaly, thank you for not using overcomplicated explanations. It is not help when you are a foreigner and trying to get the essential knowledge, but spending all your time on veryfing "fancy" words instead.

It's a great tool for complete beginners in Project Management. Although I had formal education in management and special classes in PM, it was good to revise everything and to listen to things I haven't picked up during my studies.

Extremely valuable was the insight into the day-to-day job of project manager and the career stories of Google employees. Some aspects of the course were also though provoking and I appreciate it very much. Now time for Course no. 2! Wish me luck and give it a try! It's worth it!

What a fantastic course! There is a lot of content, but it still manages to be accessible. I honestly think this is accessible enough that some sharp elementary school kids could get something out of it. Yet there is enough content that you can really get more if you want to dive deeper, either by getting into more detail in the readings or using the material as a springboard to do additional research. I'm really glad I found this and I'll certainly be taking the remaining 5 courses for the certificate.

It has been a wonderful and informative month since I started the foundations of project management module a month ago. It has provided me with new concepts in project management such as the methodologies of project management and organisational culture. It has also come across already existing concepts and aspects but presented them in a more organised and professional way.

I am looking forward to continuing the five remaining modules if my financial aid request is approved.
