One of the worst courses I have come across so far. Their content is good, but their presentation is horrendous. For instance, in Week 1, they just show a UML diagram and say, "This is an example of the diagram", instead of explaining it. It's even worse in the quizes that appear during the viedo, which has multiple diagrams. It's upon us, beginners, to scramble through three of the diagrams in the horrible UI of Coursera to find the correct answer and arrive at our own explanations. They could have instead just explained a few diagrams and then started quizzing people. Their approach overwhelmes beginners and shows their inexperience in delivering digital courses. The don't even mention the software used to create UML diagrams in the first week.

This is a good course if you are planning to take the next step to become a Software Architect. The lessons are clean and to-the-point. Quizes help to evaluate your understanding of the concepts. Peer reviews help to get other people's perspectives of a same problem.

Absolutly Fantastic Courses!! Well Designed. I got what I was looking for. Using Andoid as a way to pratices is also a very good idea. Thank you very all of you.

The contents of the course is quite information. Plus the assignments gives the learners more practical insight and how to deal with real life situations.

The concepts taught in this course helped me apply them in practice during the development of projects at work. Highly recommended!

Great material, handy for any architect. Reference architectures, ATAM, ASR were particularily useful.

The course is very good in its content: a lot of documentation, clear explainations and covers subjects that are often underrated. Only reason why this course has 4 stars and not 5 is the final assignment: its objective is not very clear and such task has not been seen as an example in the lessons, only explained in theory. Challenging of course. Anyway worth doing it if you are interested in how to build and evaluate an architecture.
