I liked this course not only because of good content but also they represented those content absolutely for beginners. Thanks coursera for helping to understand spring framework.

- Some material is out of date.

- There are some video/audio issues.

- Typos, either in code, slides or exercises.

- Coursera "lab" has issues downloading maven deps.

The course is very cool but some time video is not enough quality. If the video will 1080p it will be great. Thanks for course! Good job.

it's really exciting, thanks to this course I was able to improve my level concerning the Spring framework, thank you Coursera...

overall is ok. However, too much material is presented in long sentences and there are some videos that are cut off

Some transcripts are incorrect and it is difficult to follow the lesson for non-native English speakers.

Video quality of the solution walkthrough is really bad..

Let me thank you for all the work you put in to provide this course! I'm really grateful even if my feedback contains some criticism.

I'm not sure if "Beginners" is the correct level for this course. Without having an idea or even worked with the Spring framework I think it's rather difficult to understand all the concepts in this lecture. Clearly some experience with Java programming is assumed (e.g. all the abbreviations such as "DAO"). The course material could be improved a lot: - examples provided on slides are very abstract and could be a lot more understandable - some videos have pauses or even contain slide corrections and repetitions - the lab didn't work in my case because the parent maven project could not be resolved

The course have a lot of important and very useful content, however, the quality of the videos are low. Labs are the biggest problem because some of them is impossible to watch just because it's all pixels with no contrast. The slides are good but full of text and not much diagrams to help understand the contexts. Course have so many examples but they are not meaningful since they don't show a real life situation that you can use the annotations.

The complementary material is good and help us find the official documentation for the topics.

Lab setup still contains error with Maven, even though discussion forum has pointed out this problem for many months. Materials, especially the videos, are not carefully reviewed for error. Lab instructions contains inconsistencies between different labs, causing learners having to spend time debugging them, rather than learning and experimenting. Recommend instructor to review recent feedbacks and update the quality of the materials.

While this course gives basic understanding of Spring Framework, it severely lacks quality. Abnormal amount of typos, inconsistent code style and poor video quality on lab solutions. I'd suggest to use this course a basis before reading book or something, this course is not sufficient nor contains deep knowledge. 11 Hours estimate is wrong by a mile, it takes around 3-4 hours to complete entire course with HW and tests.
