About the Course

This is a course aimed at students wishing to develop Java based Web Applications and Restful Micro Services using the very popular Spring MVC and Spring Boot frameworks with minimal configuration. The student will develop services through various Url templates, consume and respond with json or XML payloads and create custom HTTP headers. Requestors of these services will include Java and Angular JS clients to illustrate the reuse capabilities of services in a distributed architecture. Traditional web applications will also be covered that render web pages in a typical Model View Controller (MVC) architecture. This is a very hands on course with a series of labs to illustrate the key concepts....

Useful and provides structured explanations. Labs part is lame and fails to load dependencies. Many typos and text in videos, making it not worth to listen to the lecturer, but to quickly read.

Il corso è fatto molto bene e i contenuti molto chiari e spiegati bene, unica pecca i laboratori molto utili ma poco fluidi.

The slides are not too clear and intuitive.

The explanation could be improve by using a pointer of what the instructor is talking about during the presentation.

The virtual machine is very slow and unusable.

The labs are broken, the pom couldn't compile even with the simple instructions.

Only good thing is that they actually talk about multiple aspect of Springboot

The way of teaching is very bad, this is the second course I am taking from the Learn Quest and I am very dissatisfied with the courses and sometimes I feels like the recordings are very old as well...

Seems one needs to follow through the slides which in the first place are very blurry and hinders the overall learning process
