The course really gives an insight into all the different fields the IT specialist can get their hands into. Leaning about how the world wide web works, how computer communicates with one another, how to build and repair a computer, and how to write my resume.

Though the information in this course has been very useful it is very short and not super detailed. You get a decent knowledge understanding of how things work but it does not offer much in the way of actually learning how to fix/resolve any technical issues.

A very solid technical and theoritcal explaination of Support from experienced and energitic instructors from Google. great starting point for the people who about it support from 0 to intermediate level. Instructors are extemly good at what they are teaching.

This is a very great course to start IT support specialist .

Great course, I think this is a great way to refresh and retake knowledge that can be easily forgotten due to the sometimes repetitive task that someone can face working as IT.
I think this also is great for someone that wants to start from 0, very recommended

It's very useful! Even though I have some fundamental knowledge about IT, I can learn things from almost every minute in this course. The curriculum is very systematic and Google team made it easy enough for anyone to understand. BTW, the speakers are so nice!

Loved it! There was a LOT of information that was broken down into friendly, no pressure lectures and assignments. I appreciated the pop quizzes that were built into most of the videos. A big thank you to all that were involved in putting this series together!

This was a very informative course. I particularly appreciate the conciseness of the videos and readings. It's also simple enough for any leaner to understand regardless of background. I would recommend this course to folks looking to get into IT or up-skill.

Great course. I already worked in IT Support and have been dealing with IT for 20 years now, so I really didn't learn anything new, but the course is good and it's nice to have a certificate. The content quality and its presentation are top notch, seriouly.

I enjoyed working through the materials in the Technical Support Fundamentals course. Learning about the basic technical knowledge required for a career as an IT support specialist, as well as problem solving strategies and soft skills was a great experience.

All of the instructors and guests were great. While they were all reading off a teleprompter, they were easy to understand and made learning interesting. Technical ideas were presented simply and easily and the quizzes helped reinforce what was being learned.

This program is great. It was a refresher but I also learned how to build a computer. Now I can build my own. I would definitely recommend this program to anybody looking to get into IT. I actually did recommend someone. The people at Merit America are great.

This course is the start. Its a base. It does not go into much detail and covers many areas. It is great for what it is. Introduce you to the materials that you will be going into greater details with down the road. It has inspired me to continue on and grow.

A very good general introduction to computing and IT, as well as outlining the many skills that are necessary for the career. There is a lot of material to cover, and for anyone new to the profession or considering it, this is a good way to get a feel for it.

The Technical Support Fundamentals introduced many IT concepts in a well manner. Google's class provided a variety of places to grasp the information, including tests and quizzes to test newly learned information via Coursera. I definitely enjoyed the course.
