All of the theory content related to full-stack development is extremely well presented and useful for knowing the basics. I wish there were more practical examples aside from the recap of HTML, CSS and basics of JS. It could have been cool setting up a free version of any type of service or an example on how to deploy a project in the cloud. Also the final project is very simple and hands-on, yet good.

Overall a good course. It would be better if it covers JavaScript more.

I recently enrolled in the "Full-Stack with Python and Django" course on Coursera, and I must express my disappointment with the content quality. The course promised an immersive learning experience into full-stack development, yet it struggled to meet basic educational benchmarks in various key areas. The treatment of Python and Django, which are central to the course, was overly theoretical, with a glaring absence of hands-on, practical examples that are essential for understanding real-world application. This issue was not confined to Python and Django alone but extended to the JavaScript and CSS segments as well. Both areas lacked depth and were presented in a cursory fashion that hardly scratches the surface of what is required to be proficient in full-stack development. Additionally, the DevOps content, which is crucial for any full-stack developer, was entirely theoretical. The course failed to provide practical exercises or real-world scenarios where one could apply the concepts discussed. This purely theoretical approach is a significant drawback for those looking to gain practical skills and understanding of the deployment and operational aspects of full-stack development. The course structure compounded these issues, presenting a fragmented and disorganized learning path that made it challenging to connect the dots between different technologies and practices. In summary, while the intent behind this course is commendable, its execution leaves much to be desired. Prospective students looking to genuinely delve into full-stack development, especially the practical application of DevOps, might have to consider additional or alternative resources to bridge the gap left by this course.
