Learn essential skills to build a career as a data engineer by enrolling in top-rated programs from leading universities and companies.
“I was a complete newbie when I started the Machine Learning course and Deep Learning Specialization taught by Professor Andrew Ng. They turned out to be the best courses I ever took. These courses helped me build a strong foundation, which set me up for success to learn more advanced concepts, and helped me prepare for my interviews. The skills and knowledge I gained still continue to help me at my current job as a research engineer in computer vision. If you’re interested in getting into the AI/ML/DL field, I would highly recommend taking these courses.”

A career learning path is a set of curated courses that together comprise a learning plan for achieving the skills necessary to land a specific role, and launch and advance a specific career.
We work with experts in a given career field to understand the skills needed, and with our own career and content teams to ensure we're recommending the right courses to help learners achieve their career goals and learn the right skills.
Time to completion varies based on your schedule and experience level, but based on the experience of other learners, you can expect to complete all the courses in a learning path in about 6-8 months.
We suggest following courses in the order recommended in the path especially if you’re just getting started in the field. Depending on how much experience you may already possess, you can potentially start with more advanced content. The paths are flexible, however, so you should feel free to adapt a suggested path to suit your particular goals.
If you are interested in taking multiple courses in a career learning path, we recommend Coursera Plus, a subscription plan that provides unlimited access to over 3000+ courses. Visit the Coursera Plus page to make sure the courses you plan to take are included, and to learn more about how you can save money on your learning with a subscription model.
You will earn shareable Certificates for each course, Guided Project, Specialization, or Professional Certificate that you complete as a part of a career learning path. You do not earn a separate certificate for the career path itself. If you are interested in earning credit that can count toward a degree program, we encourage you to explore a MasterTrack™ Certificate or degree program offering on Coursera.
We’re working hard to develop more career learning paths based on the needs of learners on Coursera and we’d love to get your feedback. Please fill out this brief survey to suggest a career learning path you’d like to see offered.
