Thta's great course, Covered Hooks, Context API, Unit Tests and more ... Hands-on projects were fantastic, and the instructors were top-notch. If you're serious about React, don't miss this course.

The course is excellent, and it was quite valuable for me. It gives us an in-depth explanation of the most common hooks, and different techniques to develop better applications.

Overall quite a good enough course. It repeats the basics laid down in the React Basics course, adds knowledge on working with APIs, testing, and touches upon various interesting features of React.JS. I personally lacked a bit more practice with testing, as well as it would be good to cover routing, builders, their customization, some best practices of working with the architecture of the application. Although the topics were interesting, the basic knowledge was laid down, but it's not enough to start working with serious business applications right after this course.

A really well built course to help teach advanced React techniques. I felt there were some missing readings between video topics to help cement the point home or to reference for use with the labs. Overall, I feel there should have been an intermediate course as this one felt like too big of a jump in concepts from the beginner course. Also, the final lab has topics that aren't covered in the videos and requires additional time on your own to hunt down and figure out.

Nice instructors and a well compiled, researched course.
It would be great if the new videos are also added which elaborate the "Hooks" concept in more depth.
Adding further videos or separate course for libraries like "Redux" and "React Router" would make the course more practical and prudent as these skills along with React are most wanted for.

Useful course for people interested in React framework, but you need to keep up with the rushed tempo of the lessons. The structure of the course forces you to look up half of the information by yourself using different sources, because it is poorly explained in the given material, but these are realities of being a web developer nowadays 🥲

The course is well-structured and easy to understand. However, I felt cheated in the React portfolio project because the lab instructions in Coursera failed to display the specifics of the validation rules. It was only while doing peer reviews that I realized that the complete validation rules could be seen in the lab's markdown file.

I love the way the instructor taught this course. She gave in-depth knowledge of hooks, APIs, useState and useEffect. The labs provide a more hands-on experience. Finally, I love that the Final Project of this course in which you have to build a Portfolio website with the knowledge you gained.

It's a good course. As the name suggests it is actually Advanced, as it introduces you to topics that are really advanced for a new user who is learning ReactJS. Overall for me, it was a bit more difficult. but it's doable. I recommend everyone to do this course.

Before getting into this course people need strong foundation on javaScript. This course is not for beginner. But if you are have knowledge in JS and you people are interested to enhance their skills , this (Advanced React) course is for you.

I gave 4 stars because we were learning React, just React, and in the final project was maded with Chakra UI (a React library) then I need to spend time learning a new thing and reading the documentation... it was not funny, at least for me...

Really good one! explained all concept clearly and easily, one suggestion that I can give is assignments can be broke into several little challenges so that final assessment wont be harder than what we thought in the course.

The course material was great, but the entire experience was very buggy. I had videos starting over and skipping, missing text. The project requirements for the final project were unclear because of copy missing.

It's taught in a very effective way, my gripe is with the course being outdated as some of the things used in this course are either deprecated or even not recommended to use by the React's new site/community.

Good course with emphasis on advanced topics in React, however some of the applied libraries in the project seems a bit difficult to use and requires time, but overall it's been a good experience.

The last lab didn't run in the lab space nor locally. I had to rebuild it with create react app to match the setup. Nice test, but I am not sure if this blocker would be helpful other students.

This course gives a deep insight into React programming. Be prepared that its much more difficult than other of Meta´s courses. For new React programmers it is not a walk-though.

Some tasks, especially the final assignment, deserve a little bit more documentation or at least should point students to where they should look for said documentation.
