This course helped me get comfortable working with command line basics, combined with Git/Github. There were few errors in labs or test but nothing that really detracted from the overall quality.

Useful, but a bit outdated already. Tried my best to troubleshoot and self educate, but because the material has not been updated by Coursera in a few months/years, it added a lot of extra time spent re-learning updated information written for established developers, not so much newbies like myself.

I found much of this course confusing. It wasn't immediately made clear from the very beginning where exactly I should run the commands that the teacher was showing in the videos. I feel like the very first thing that should have been explained was how to install bash on my system.

Generally the course does the job to introduce version control but i feel that there is room for improving the course. For example explaining better what Bash is and how to access it. Also i feel that some links in assignments need to be updated.

Very good intro to version control, got me interested in the history of linux and version control. However, I wish more was said about resolving merge conflicts and more practical labs were dedicated to this scary, yet important workflow of git.

overall it was ok. The instructor voice and pace was amazing although there were many instances where they had lack of clear explanation. moreover, I encountered some technical issues while doing assignment that I hope they could solve them.

All the practical projects have outdated repositories that no longer exist in GitHub, hence there currently is no available exercises so as to corroborate students are retaining the knowledge they're getting from this course.

Course offers basic introductions to version control and Git. They lost me somewhere around covering Git HEADS. I was unable to complete any of the forking exercises, as the links to the class repo didn't work.

This course gives good foundational knowledge for version control and also some basics of using bash. But, this course has deficiencies in being a shallow, labs that are too easy, and also has broken links.

Felt more like a recap course or an intermediate course. For beginners, this is very fast and not in depth enough for us to grasp the concepts. I had to do a lot of outside reading to understand it.

The course, like the others by Meta, was well produced, but vital links and some video content were outdated. This made the course difficult to complete, although it was still informative.

Everything was explained pretty well but there is big issue with course link to repository for last two labs works. class-repo is not existent so you basically can not do those labs.

Altough the content is good it's incredible to have the repository issue for over a year without someone fixing it either from Coursera or the Meta staff who did this course...

The Course is informative, well structured and the tutors are great. However, graded assessments cant be achieved because of the repo "class" isn't available.

The tutor is doing an amazing job but more exercises are needed. Also the remote repo needs to be fixed as it doesn't allow to practice since it's not there.

Some links won't work, and there were a lot of errors in labs that I had to search for personally on my own, and the voice of the videos needs to be higher.

The lecture explanation is very clear. However, Meta's failure in keeping up the course content made the lab impossible to finish.

A lot of the course was outdated and the links broken. But it does teach you a lot about git and command line which I appreciate.

The class isn't organized well. If you have no basic knowledge on command line and github, it wouldn't be a good course for you.

The labs do not work, so is hard to practice what you learn. However, the information is helpful and easy to understand.
