The course just gives the right amount of basic knowledge required by a person who is unfamiliar to Cloud Computing. But, at some points, the terms used are not so common for a new student or someone who doesn't belong to the IT or CS sectors and you have to search it up on the web separately for better understanding and passing the Quizzes.

Great introduction to Cloud Computing with a good scope of all the terms that we need to be familiar with. However, I take issue with how the course was delivered. Mostly slide-based recorded videos; the voice of the instructor was merely reading off the slides 80% of the time. Quite a bit of grammatical errors in the slides as well.

I have successfully completed course at its first attempted and it was a grate deal as basic level of cloud computing course, The way of teaching by Mr. Jim Sullivan is excellent with lots of examples and assignments after each module.

Also module quiz was perfect to demonstrate how much you acquired from learning.

i have interest on cloud computing so i pick this course in coursera for free its very understandable and clear and discusion prompt section was very good and the way of taking course is very good i just loved online learning now i wanted do more online course like this thank you for suggesting such a good course !!!!

As a beginner, this course is mostly perfect. It compares Cloud providers like Amazon Web Service, IBM, Google cloud Plattform, and Microsoft Aure which is great. But I personally loved " the future of cloud computing" part. The Instructor was transparent and concise. So. overall I would recommend it to everyone.

The video slides were informative and obviously short sessions of talk (2 to 3 min max) was helpful and refreshing. But I would like to suggest to not just read out the slides. It would be very good in shorts animations could be used with the already present structure. That would make the course more attractive.

The course is vital for everyone who want to caught up with key enablers (Cloud, 5g and AI). The world is going to change because of these enablers. So, it’s time to understand the keys technology for your preparation. Thank you causers for deliver the online courses for everyone to lifelong learning.

Gives you a nice informational overview of the cloud and the various technologies that use the cloud including serverless computing, edge computing, and distributed applications. Good informational overview, but the quizzes are a little too easy and don't require critical thinking for the most part.

Very Helpful course with a good overview of different cloud computing concepts.But it's okay for beginners but more technical info is required to be added into it. At Least in the ending, it should what's next for people who want to pursue a career in this field and how can they proceed further.

It is a lovely course to start with if you know very little about cloud computing. I have learnt a lot from this course I even plan on learning more after this because of this course. This course has taught me more than I even thought I could learn, thank you Mr Jim Sullivan for this.

Excellent course for learning basis but google should give more hand on projects that can easily be accessed or done

like there was an activity where we have to create our personal vms on cloud where just link account i need a credit card in order to use it which i don't have .

This course is great for beginners and has pretty in-depth insights on Cloud Computing. The only thing that concerns me is that 'Azure' has been stressed a lot of time which raises the suspicion that whether this is a promotional course or an Advertisement by Microsoft Azure.

A very in-depth course that is bite-sized, easy to understand and enough to get the gist of what cloud computing is and what it isn't. Also a good precursor towards learning the Azure Fundamentals Certification. Would definitely recommend it.

Some Recommendations For Making this Course to be better:

1.try to use animation to make concepts clear.

2.try to give simple examples So that the student understands the meaning in depth.

Overall a great 101. Potential improvement opportunities - should be more conceptual than technical jargons. Additionally, rather than reading slides can be more interactive/animated. Reading materials were vast and endless as required.

I give this star because it's very easy to understand and not complicated at all. I only have an issue of being asked to upgrade after taking the module quiz even though I'm on financial Aid, so now I'm stuck. But overall great app.

Gives you the basics to understand. I wish there were more real-world examples. Put the playback speed on 1.75 as the speaker talks slowly. Overall helpful entry course to understand what is going on and the functions of the cloud.

I enjoyed this course, and learned quite a bit of useful information for my job. My only critique is that I wish real world examples of some of the technology (ie. Companies, websites, applications) was provided during the lesson.

The instructors voice and explanation was very prompt and clear. Though this is a basic course I got an idea and how Cloud computing works. I am more interested now to do the cloud computing course like Azure, AWS, etc... Yaaay!

Excellent course. Sone of the videos seemed to cut off without anything continuing to the next video though. Some grammatical errors in the slides were a bit distracting, but the presenter was great at explaining things.

The Course is very helpfull for the beginners like me to start into Cloud Computing. After completing this course i am very much confident with the basics of Cloud Computing. It covers all the aspects of cloud computing.

It is not that much good course for beginners with zero knowledge. Instructor only reads slides and that slides also doesn't include that much of presentable information. Read course details carefully before taking it.

Great overview of Cloud Computing Basics. I only wish we had more real world experiences as the lessons were being taught from the presentations. Other than the information and the Professor's narration were great!
