Andrew Ng explained in details concepts of fundamentals of linear regression and logistic regression with math expression models. He kept strict to stick with formulas to evaluate the models ourselves without the help of the sci-kit learn built-in methods to use. which gives one what actually we are trying and doing here.

A really good course with upto date contents, the best part is the way the course content is displayed by being broken down and starting from scratch by understanding the base concepts and then moving onwards to advanced libraries that do the implementation so that we know and understand the fundamentals of how they work.

Everything was easy to grasp. Would have appreciated if there were some assignments that made you write everything from scratch without help ( while only having some checkpoints ). Could be implemented as optional honors content and I think that'd have helped me grasp everything much quicker and in a better manner.

This course is so fundamental that anyone with no idea about mathematics and machine learning can understand. Thanks to the course instructor, Andrew Ng and the entire coursera team for putting thing together for other who can not make to the United States to also embark on their learning goals in machine learning.

A really nice starting point for ML. Completing the optional labs helps a lot. The whole course is pleasantly presented and in depth enough to get a good grasp of ML without getting into too many details (even then, if you want details, there's some optional parts of lessons to watch). I'd definitely recommend it.

The explanations by Professor Ng were very detailed and precise, which made it better for me to understand while reviewing the material. I also liked how this version uses Python to supplement learning, rather than Octave. The only thing I wished he would have touched a bit more on the math behind the algorithms.

It is the course that deserves multiple attempts. No strong math is required!!! As a math lover, I am so impressed by how simply Dr. Ng illustrated the relationship between loss and cost function and how to interpret equations and functions in lab practices. This course is really helpful in getting your Machine Learning Basics clear as it has a perfect blend of the mathematics and the programming part. All the concepts have been taught very clearly and proper labs have been given to apply those learnings. Wherever necessary the educator emphasizes on the concept .

Overall very good course for beginners. But I feel there is a lack of exercise. Some labs can have some small questions in between them and practice quizzes can have more questions also question could be more challenging in quizzes.

After completing the course I feel like relaxing on the J-w-b contour.

An amazing introduction to Machine Learning. The theory was well explained and with really clear examples. The only thing I could add would be that I wished the code was also explained in the videos, mostly for those who would understand better if someone went through it. Overall, a great starting experience.
