This course really does a good job of starting things from a place where if you don't know what you're doing, you can quickly get into the swing of what you need to know. It does a good job balancing technical skills with the softer skills you'd likely need.

I found the course very well organized and thoughtful, keeping in mind the beginner learner in Data Science. This gives a very gentle and balanced introduction to the field of Data Science, which is very overwhelming at times. Thank you Google and Coursera.

The foundation course was awesome. Gives you a great insight to what is data analysis and the instructor teaches in an interactive way. The quizzes at the end of each chapter helps a lot too. You will be interested to go further once you finish this course.

I have learn some new skill of a Data Analyst. I admire the way of teaching, the content which is provided purely and also all the teachers and i think all we should have to learn about new skills and looking forward to new creation and human relief things.

I have absolutely enjoyed and loved all the videos. I wish to see more and learn more from some of the experts at Google. The reading materials have also been very resourceful and has helped me learn a lot and in depth, just how I wanted to know my subject.

I really enjoy the first course. I found the instructor really passionate, learning material and content is interesting and organised in different form such as video, reading, flashcard ... There is learning log, disscusion forum, quiz, challenge. Bravoooo!

I thought this was a very fun and encouraging introduction to the course. I like the way the questions aren't not intended to confuse the learner which can make me doubt my abilities. There aren't any "gotcha" questions just straight forward look and learn.

It was best fit to the title : foundation. Definitions and the big picture described here help me set a mind map of data analysis process and the way elements are related. It was really helpful and make me even more interested to carry on. Thank you google!

The course is dynamic, objective, and useful, even suggesting ways to find a job as a data analyst. There are resources and software that one must learn outside of the course in order to complement it, but being almost totally theoretical, it is effective.

The bite-size presentations of this course corresponded to my personal learning method, and this was a great motivation!

its just amazing, it makes me believe that apart from technical skill one has to enhance the analytical skill to move furthur up. it actually tells that why we are using all of this, its like giving the motive to solve the problem using the analysis power.

The instructor for this course Tony, is phenomenal. His love for analytics shines through and is infectious. He takes the time to encourage us and reassures us that we can do it. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor.
