This course was really interesting! I loved it. The teacher was amazing and very engaging. And it was my first time doing peer-graded assignments, i was scared but i did it and i'm so proud of myself.

I've been on this path for several years, and the information and resources are quality. I appreciate the discussions of discrepancies and the honesty in this course. Most importantly, the project to actually put the course info into practice is key. All courses should be like this; success or fail, you learn. If you put genuine effort in, you learn the most important lessons in life and personal growth.

Truly a great course! If you really take it seriously, do the rewirements, etc. it has the potential to be life-changing in a very positive way. I will admit some of the content was stuff I had already figured out for myself, but it was nice to hear scientific data to confirm it! Super helpful course for anyone. It will definitely make me more conscious in the future about my habits, behaviors, and goals.

The Yale Science of Well-Being course was exceptionally informative as well as functional in bringing about changes. Its a well structured program with scientifcallly validated theories and recommendations which could be well adopted resulting in the accomplished sense of well-being and happiness. This served as a savior to a great many by lifting them out of darkness into the hope to a new way of life.

Absolutely LOVED this course! It gave a lot of insight in human behavior. The course is set up in a very logical and clear way. Easy to follow. I love the fact that the teacher is showing her own vulnerabilities, it shows how hard it really can be and that we are not alone in our struggles. Would recommend this course to anyone who wants to become happier (and wants to do some work to get to that point).

Excellent introduction to positive psychology and how to improve your level of happiness through the incorporation of various techniques, all based on scientific research. Class assignments center around incorporating those habits into your own life. Happiness levels are measured pre and post class. Mine improved a lot! Highly recommended for those who love to learn and would like to have a happier life!

I am grateful for this course and thank you Professor Santos for all the wonderful work you are doing in the field of cognitive science and positive psychology. This was my first step in creating a life that I love, and the re-wirement exercise has set my in a good path to cultivating positive habits. I truly loved the course both the practical re-wirement exercise and the theoretical background context.

This course was really interesting, well thought out and easy to follow. I enjoyed the professor's approachable friendly manor and sense of humour. The science behind the course was presented in an accessible way and I enjoyed the opportunities for the extra learning. The flexible time schedule was also very helpful. Thank You so much. I learned useful information and techniques to implement into my life to increase my happiness. It was challenging and fun at the same time. I loved learning about the studies behind the science of well-being and hearing from the experts from interviews with Professor Santos. This should be a required course at all campuses. This class has been very beneficial to me and has given me a boost of happiness.

This is a terrific class that really gave me the tools to live a better life. Professor Laurie Santos is delightful in her video lectures. The skills that were taught were extremely valuable; I have been and will continue to use her rewirement activity to live a happier and healthier life. Thank you for this course in teaching the effects of having behavioral strengths and weaknesses and knowing how to change habits by using strategies and techniques written and studied by others. To also learn betterment with sleep disorders, happiness struggles, and finding solutions to difficult circumstances using Emotional Scientist methods with ourselves as well as to help our families and friends.

I found the tools very simple, but a challenge to put them into everyday life. It was really helpful in how I view things, and how I manage different stresses, and showing empathy for others. Overall, I believe that everyone should take this course to re centre themselves, and be reminded of the things that truly make us happy. It was such an added bonus that this course was offered for free.

Amazing class. With all the stress life brings the class reminds me to focus on the things that are important and what really makes us happy. We are entitled to self-care and focusing on that allows us to take care of others and be more present in our daily lives. Particularly in the days of the pandemic we all need to reminded of what is important and to be grateful and happy for each day that we have.

Wonderful course, loved it. It is a great reminder for us all to enjoy little things in life. Not be part of the rat race. GO easy and do what you love to do. Use your core strengths and be grateful. Important thing for us to remember is : it is not the stuff and good body, fame etc that makes us happy, it is the experiences that define our happiness. Spend your money in experiences rather than stuff.

This course is by far one of the best courses that I have ever taken, and the best online course ever. I learned too many life skills to list here, but in a nutshell, Dr. Laurie Santos comes across as a genius psychologist, an excellent teacher, but most of all, a good friend looking out for you. I totally recommend taking this class...you'll be a different person at the end, and will be happy you did.

Love the whole course and I have been coming back to it ever since I first checked it out two or three years ago. It helps as a reminder that happiness and my own well-being are things I have under my control, although my brain tends to be somewhat unhelpful at times. ;) Can highly recommend that course to everyone who wants to understand more about their own well-being and what they can do about it!

A very comprehensive course on very relevant topic. The course is very comprehensive. It covers all the relevant study in the field. A fantastic step by step sequencing of course. Kudos to Prof. Laurie Santos, whose cheerful disposition further convince the student on efficacy of course. The course has added value to my well being. I highly recommend this course. I thought all the presentations and lectures were informative and enjoyable and the course work was fun and rewarding. The things I learned were so valuable and I as I was taking the class I wanted my whole family to sit down and take it along with me. That didn't happen but I hope to someday share with them all the things I learned as they see my utilize my new skills!

I found this course engaging and enlightening. I started the course whilst in lockdown and found the focus on Rewirements the perfect way to maintain and subsequently increase my happiness scores at a stressful time in my life. Never too late or old to take this life changing course. This course changed my attitude towards the pursuit of real happiness which does not necessarily involve acquiring more wealth. Spiritual, physical and mental health are very important for well-being. Really enjoyed various rewiring assignments. Excellent instructor & guest lecturers who shared rewiring techniques. Highly recommend the course.

Excellent course. Unfortunately like with many other subjects this is the kind of course that would be so much more substantive and meaningful for the student as a live in person course. That said, the course held up well given the limitations of teh virtual classroom - kudos also to Coursera for keeping all the backgorund elements working flawlessly and invisible to the user.
