This course was really interesting! I loved it. The teacher was amazing and very engaging. And it was my first time doing peer-graded assignments, i was scared but i did it and i'm so proud of myself.

This course has been somewhat like polishing my favorite old shoe to make it brand new again. I feel empowered with the science of living my life supported and continously being documented with the experience of everyday people like you and myself. It is not enough to know this science it must be implemented and thank you for making me accountable for my own well-being. I loved IT

I absolutely loved the course and now that I have completed it, I am already missing it! Certain things you already know, but you need it coming from a third party to really make lifestyle changes. The research backed explanation is working with me and i feel all charged up to go ahead with an attitudinal change.

This course is amazing, I highly recommend, it’s really for everybody, great, nice and friendly professor, Laurie is great , she is kind and human, she will get you the information how I mind work and you will learn about different ways how to become happier so you can choose what seem appropriate to you, and you and only you can decide to become happier by choosing this course.

A fantastic, comprehensive course that goes into great detail about the science behind how our brains work and how we can add simple habits into our day and the fact that they are scientifically proven to increase your happiness. Everyone I know who has completed this course had specified how much this has actually increased their happiness so I cannot recommend it highly enough!

I loved this course because I always kind of lived on what the course preaches (giving up a better job, or city, or anything that doesn´t make me happy), but I was never able to explain to my peers why I thought differently and, so, for me, this course is the perfect "I told you so" moment for me. This will save me so much hardship in my family, so thank you! Thank you very much!

I am so delighted to come across this course. I recommend this to everyone. The most interesting thing for me, personally, was that every topic discussed here are well documented and scientifically proven. And last but not the least, we all need to be mindful of our thoughts which will reflect in our actions and will help to become compassionate human beings.

This course is clearly laid out and easy to follow. Professor Santos has an easy, well-informed and highly personable manner in presenting the material which is evidence-based and - yes - really works if you practice and apply it! My own happiness scores increased significantly between starting and completing this course. I'm already recommending it to anyone who will listen!!

It has been a privilege to work through this course, and not just for the sake of completing something from Yale! SO grateful for the science behind these things and because it's science it breeds the confidence needed to step out and PRACTICE these things because it's proven data. I would highly recommend this course to anyone desiring to continue on their journey of well-being.

An excellent course with very informative contents. I am an academic myself who has been going through a very rough patch in my life. This course has given me perspectives and concrete strategies that I can use to look at life and do things slightly differently at the start and this slowly steers me away from the negative loop that I was trapping myself in in the past. I have 2 college degrees, one master degree and have taken a few online courses till know, but this is the best ever. Have taught me how to see things in a more clear and satisfactory way. to live in a more conscious and happy way. I am sharing a lot of this course tips with friend and students.It introduce me to interesting books and Ted talks too. I think I will take it again!

Love and like this course very much. The teacher is so clear, helpful with all of her info as well as knowledge. The syllabus is rich, understandable and easy to follow. The only minus point is Certificate is not written your name on it but "Coursera Learner" which I am not prefer at all. Should be written with the full name of the Learner as it is something so worth to be name.

This course not only teaches the science and research related to happiness and well-being but also discusses ways to implement this knowledge into your daily life. I've learned a lot about myself and have engaged in active self-reflection and data collection to really assess and work towards my values. I found this class engaging, interesting, and undeniably relevant to my life.

Even though I have healthy habits established and a happy outlook on life, last year really threw me for a loop and it helped to go through this class during it. The research Laurie presents and techniques like WOOP and reference points really pushed me to keep making my happiness a priority using information I learned during the course. I couldn’t recommend this course enough!!

Laurie Santos is a great presenter and this was a great course to do especially during the pandemic. I confidently can say I have a better outlook of life, and I've learned to deal with certain things a different way because of it. I'm more relaxed..thanks to what I learned in this course. Laurie Santos is a formidable engaging and fun instructor, and time flies as you feel you are chatting amongst friends. The amount of resources linked to in the course is great and I already have many more hours of reading planned just to finish all the books and articles referenced there!

I loved this course! I think it really helped me to work on my mental health in a positive way, especially during a difficult time in my life in which I was going through a breakup and dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and isolation. I will definitely continue implementing the practices I learned in the course in my daily life. I have recommended it to several friends as well.

This was a great class and one I would definitely recommend for others to take. I enjoyed Professor Santos and found her very easy to follow and understand. She was very engaging in her videos and a true master of her craft. The course was easy to follow and laid out very well. This course was very enlightening and definitely opened my mind to a newer way of viewing things.

I am grateful for this course. It was really useful, especially at this corona time. Thanks to the course I understood more about how our mind works, how tricky it could be and how to deal with it.

I was also enjoying the practice of building new habits. It is not as simple as I thought from the beginning, but I'll continue with it.

This class is a must for anyone who wants to deepen the quality of life they are currently experiencing. This course is not set up like a simple "to do" list and then leaves you adrift. You are given, solid measurable tools and skills and then you self assess how you applied them. I guarantee if you utilize just one of the skills in this course you will be happier in your life.

The overall content is very strong. The videos, the lectures are all worth reading and following along to get the best benefit out. I wanted to learn about being happier, a better sense of well-being. I believe the course definitely achieved that. I feel happier and I think there's a lot to reflect on and come back to, to continue my journey of bringing happiness into my life.
