This course was really interesting! I loved it. The teacher was amazing and very engaging. And it was my first time doing peer-graded assignments, i was scared but i did it and i'm so proud of myself.

I loved this course. Laurie was a great online tutor. The course was flexible and fitted into the time I had available and was broken down into manageable sections. I will certainly be implementing what I have learnt over the last 10 weeks and I have already told my friends about the course and suggested they look it up.

A great course for anyone who is interested in finding out how to claim the most out of their life. It can be taken at any stage of learning. For someone who coaches others on how to find joy in their every day lives, it is great to get some scientific knowledge to back up the intrinsic and intuitve areas of my teachings.

Lorrie is an amazing teacher who fully involved herself in the practise of this course as much as us students. I found the information and lectures to be very helpful to understand the way the brain works and why it works in the control of our minds. How and why we have these thoughts, feelings, bad days, depression, etc.

I took this course with my son (a high school sophomore) and found it really valuable. Not just the lectures, student Q&A and assignments but the dialog we had together. The day he hit 'pause' on a lecture to initiate one of those conversations made me realize he was really taking the information he was learning to heart.

The learning format was new to me. I was able to work on my own and the course/assignments were fitting my expectations. I learned new concepts and techniques that I intend to use throughout my life. I have been happier overall and my family have even taken notice. I would have to say that this course is a success for me.

Professor Laurie really helps me demystify what makes up happier and how brain tricks me to things that don't make me happy. The material presented in the course is great, true to human wisdom and re-wirement challenges are designed to increase overall well-being with our consent. I find great relief in fact that we've got problems, but the solutions are also with us. We have to act in the right direction which are shown throughout the course.

Life-changing. My happiness scores went up 29% and 41%. Take your time and do NOT rush through this course - really let the contents sink in, and even read the articles mentioend if you can. This was one of if not the best investments of time I made in 2022. I will use the contents I learned here for the rest of my life.

I really enjoy this course. It helpe me to put my life and priorities in perspective. Also I can honestly say that my happiness and well being was boosted by just learning about the strategies to increse them, more over, when I committed to do them, it radically change a lot of my mindset. The layout and pace of this course is wonderfully thought out, with the added layer of being able to go at my own pace should something come up in my life. It has been an amazing look into how to balance my life and care for myself in order to bring that balance and happiness to the people I love and the tasks that I do.

This course was well worth the time. Learning the science behind the happiness was much more that just believing in the power of positive thinking. This course really taught you what we think will make us happy and what actually does make us happy. Professor Santos is wonderful and i am listening to her podcasts also.

It's one thing to know that certain things might make you feel happy, and by extension make your relationships with others around you better, but it's another thing to see and hear the research behind how all of it works. And that it really does work. I loved this course and am so glad that I spent the time to take it!

I found this course very enjoyable. Professor Santos gives some useful pieces of advice to live a better life, strategies which were given are very useful, I think everyone would be pleased by the straordinarie effects of those tips after a while spent exercising your daily routine, your body, but especially your mind!

It was great to take time to focus on the things that are really important in our lives. Those things that sometimes we don't allow ourselves to acknowledge and that we usually take for granted.

Doing the course during the pandemic helped me look at the situation form another perspective and it helped me stay positive.
