The speaker is clear and articulate. I appreciate this. The content is too long for this course. The peer graded evaluations are a joke, and the worst parts. It's how they circumnavigate paying someone to grade and provide professional feedback to your queries. I learn nothing from peers, and feel pressured to mark theirs correct even though it's questionably wrong. I learn far more from the exemplars, those are the keys here. Also, the "reading" sections are the ultimate takeaway from this course, save those. The resume portion is great if you've never had a job and/or never created a resume. The tips are generic and Google will ABSOLUTELY not look at you if your resume looks anything like the one they list as an example. I am living proof. I've done A/B testing, controls, variations, read books, tried it all. The content could be more concise and less all over the place. They would benefit from repetition of where the main points fit in the overall process (all 6 courses) because it's so much specific detail that you get lost when you don't do this daily. They need to tie it all together (to the larger picture) weekly, not by course. I learned some, and it was valuable info. Yet, I had to focus to take away the impactful information. I appreciate the blank documents to use or adapt to my own standards, or to simply use as a reference. Those are great. I do feel that we're getting some generic, half-baked idea of what Google actually does. The "real world" clips of workers throughout the first 3 courses seem mostly unprofessional, and really just stress one key point you read about prior. I don't get the influence of a mentor or someone I ACTUALLY want to learn from. I don't feel as if I know what they actually do. I took this course over the PMI because I wanted an idea of MODERN approaches and day to days. However, I don't think Google will actually share what they do, and I now understand that everything from this course will in no way allow me to capture that unicorn of a job at Google. I didn't have anyone pay for my school, so I couldn't afford the Ivy Leagues and their placement programs, lol. Maybe I can pivot after the 6th course and somehow get a phone call back from the years of Google applications I fill out. That being said, you can learn something from this, but don't expect much in the ways of real world job applicability, especially the resume/digital profile.

I was excited for peer reviewed assignments, but many aspects of these are dissapointing.
I have recieved one instance of peer feedback where the grader provided their WhatsApp number and told me I should get in touch with them, which I don't feel is appropriate.
I have recieved a peer review where the reviewer took points off and said I was missing part (listing milestones) despite the assignment being complete (and having the milestones clearly listed).
I have reviewed multiple assignments for the escalation email assignment where other students have copy+pasted elements from the example email in the reading. This is particularly troublesome for the grading where I have to decide whether to give credit for having these elements or not give points because the portions of the email they copied aren't relevant to the situation presented in the assignment.

Course content is too long & less engaging even for an experienced professional. Course instructor is highly knowledgeable, language is clear but looking serious (Hardly smiles) most of the time & its not helpful to engage & focus in a static video lecture environment. [ I do have similar characteristics as an engineering professional & that's out of trend in current timeline! ] I Understand we have a general topic for project plants pal, easy to understand for all group of people. But, using the same for all examples & case studies is not interesting on repetitively used in all chapters & modules. [ Yes. I understand one common theme explained for all 6 chapters makes learning easier & give a whole picture, but its neither engaging nor interesting ]

The course reading material was well put together, but the videos could be better. The instructor was knowledgeable and covered crucial points, however throughout the course it felt rushed and there was no mapping - Eg Instructor would start with "Here are 5 reasons" and the video should continue to what are those 5 reasons or key points of a plan and describe those, but the instructor was not following any order, they were starting with Reason 1, and then 2, and instead of 3 would go into another topic related to reason 2, and from there jump to totally irrelevant topic to these 5 reasons we started to learn. This structure of information created information overload, and could not map in the brain to be used later.

My rating is more like 3.5 stars, and my concerns are (also) around the peer review portion of this course. I personally "reviewed" several submissions that were clearly plagarized, and in one instance they were given to me back-to-back. Since these same people are responsible for reviewing my work, I am left not entirely sure if I am understanding the course material or just the recipient of a passing grade from someone who is trying to cut as many corners as possible to get to their certificate.
As a whole, I walked away from the course feeling relatively confident that I understood the material presented but if someone asked me whether or not they should take this course, it would come with several caveats.

The content was fine. Peer review cheapens the quality of the course. I had an incident where a student took off points when I followed the directions exactly and my answers were identical to the grading rubric. Gave no explanation or point of view. Contacted support and they were not helpful. Just said to keep submitting until my grade is satisfactory. I question if I want to continue putting money into this program. They really ought to have designated moderators grading these assignments if my "peers" are not going to follow directions properly.

This course has lots of information, and I think this has less of structrual than previously courses, when I looked at the notes I took for the course, I had a hard time adjusting and figure out if they is more or less relvent to the topic. also the PPT slide in the vides has way too many words. I get it you are trying to explain it better, however, it only makes worse. I don't want to go through it all all, because it so lengthy . I would recomnend this course to redesign the structure a bit better in the video content.

learning objectives and outcomes do not align with the course content or quizzes. I found that many concepts were barely covered, perhaps in a sentence or two. Absolutely dislike how the assignments are designed especially the peer review ones. There is no answer sheet so your grades are dependent on what peers perceive as the correct answer, no coherence. The instructor's camera shots did not match the direction of the camera, and this made it even more evident that a teleprompter was being used.

The material is presented with well made graphics and tools. However, the pace of the course is very frustrating. Much of the content is obvious, but the user has no choice but to grind through easy & tedious activities and quizes.
Respectfully, the pace of the speech in the videos is agonizing. The presenter would take a full beat to carefully pronounce a word, then pause, then slowly discuss a point. It made me wonder if this course is intended for non-English speakers... or children.

Compared to the previous two courses i found this course pretty dull and boring, although the relevant reading materials were very informative but somewhere the tutor, Rowena was failing to engage the students. It seemed like she was just reading a transcript which we could do ourselves by referring the video transcript given below the video. I felt a little bit bored during the video lectures as there was no encouragement due to the style of tutor.

Unlike, the two first parts, this course has much less "reading" sections that summarize videos. In the two other parts, we always had written sections that summarized concepts and key learnings. Here, you need to take too much notes from videos and it makes it difficult when we want to come back to look for information. While the course is good, this is killing it for me when compared to the two first courses.

I liked the start of the course, but it became somewhat complicated towards the end. I felt like I was trying to play catch-up and failing. My aim of beginning this course isn't just to acquire a certificate, but to also understand it. However, I felt this course somewhat defeated my purpose. It felt a bit too advanced and a little too long and tedious. It was demotivavting.

I thought it was great, but some of the concepts were difficult, and even after reading and watching everything, I still didn't fully understand it. I also struggle with the course's communication methods and interacting with other learners. The course design invites many cheaters, and people are not fully bought into the process. This diminishes the value of the course.

This course had a lot to cover and wasn't as thorough as I had hoped. The content shared wasn't as connected to the end of week quizzes as the previous courses. What I mean by that is, I take thorough notes during the lessons so I can refer to them for the quiz and I had to retake multiple quizzes because the information provided weren't in line with the quiz questions.

All of the courses for this certification were very informative. However, the presenters grossly overstate the job market prospects for newly certified PM's. The likelihood of finding work without extensive prior PM experience is actually quite slim with the vast majority of job postings also requiring PM's to be subject matter experts.

Content was good but man was this a wretched slog. I hated this in comparison to the first two portions of this course. Too many videos, not enough graphics or interactions, too much time staring at that poor woman's face. You can do better than this. Even just giving her some props would help. Dang, that was awful.

This is one of two courses out of the six for project management where I have had to extend my deadlines multiple times after submitting a peer-graded assignment ahead of time. Great info in the course otherwise for someone looking to either solidify the basics of project management, or get started from scratch.
