Rediscovering the Heart of Methodism includes five courses where anyone, especially clergy (including local pastors in licensing schools), can develop core capacities for innovative leadership within the Wesleyan tradition. Throughout the series, we’ll focus on different aspects of Methodist theology and history to help you develop your own spiritual practice. Each course includes interactive video lessons from Duke Divinity School faculty and Methodist leaders, highlighting diverse expert voices. This course series draws lessons from the richness of Wesleyan history and tradition to revitalize Methodism’s place in the world today.
All courses can be taken either as a group within your own spiritual community or individually. Each course includes a PDF workbook that includes exercises to accompany each lesson and optional discussion guides for group meetings. This Duke Divinity+ Specialization will deepen your understanding of scripture, mission, spiritual practices, innovation and leadership through the Methodist faith
