The iMBA program is fully developed by Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and leverages Coursera’s online education platform to help deliver curriculum. This allows iMBA students to benefit from Coursera features such as interactive video transcription, in-course note taking, and seamless learning across multiple devices. As a student, you can attend live classroom sessions with professors, work together on group projects, and connect with instructors during live office hours on the Illinois platform.
You’ll feel the iMBA program's commitment to the student experience and positive engagement during your time as a student. You will have many opportunities to connect with students, staff, and faculty. At optional in-person experiences, you can meet and network with classmates. You can also connect with current faculty and discuss the curriculum outside of the classroom. Whether related to coursework, professional development, or for purely social reasons, these experiences can enrich your MBA experience immensely.
Lectures are organized into weekly modules, which can be absorbed via video playback or interactive transcript. Pace yourself through online lectures before meeting with the professor and your classmates to dive deeper into the material.
Access your courses from anywhere — you can even download them to your mobile device and study offline without using your data plan.
Interact with fellow students through course forums. Get access to every question asked and answered by previous students. Meet, network, and work with peers in the program during live class sessions and regional meetups (optional).
