The Online DAE degree features a Fast App performance-based admissions (PBA) pathway which allows you to skip the traditional long-form application process and join the program using your performance in courses from the program.

How to join the program

  1. Submit your Fast App

  2. The Northeastern team will review your Fast App and send you an email with a link to enroll.

  3. Enroll in your PBA courses and pay your deposit. Looking for your course enrollment link? Gain access here!

  4. Upon submission of the course enrollment form, you are officially a Northeastern student and enrolled in your selected PBA course(s) to start the next term! This means that you will receive an invitation to complete setting up your Northeastern account and more information on how to pay for your courses. Be on the lookout for these important messages.

Your prior learning on Coursera could bring you one step closer to your MSc Data Science (Statistics) degree

The Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate on Coursera is recognised as Accreditation of Prior Certificated Learning (ACPL) for the University of Leeds MSc Data Science (Statistics) degree. Eligibility requirements apply.
This means that by completing this certificate you could gain 15 credits toward the degree, potentially saving you £1,250 ($1,643). All you need to do is add your Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate in the qualifications section of your degree application.

Required information and documents

You must apply with ALL the required documents for your application to be processed.

To apply for this programme you will need to provide the following personal details:

  • Permanent address
  • Copy of identification

You must provide details of previous academic study and qualifications, or ones you are studying now, in support of your application.

This must include academic documents such as your original degree certificate and official transcript confirming your final grade and modules studied. International academic documents need to be officially translated into English.

Proficiency in English language is essential to study at the University of Leeds. You will need either:

  • IELTS 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0 in any component. Find out more about English language requirements on the University of Leeds website or
  • a degree taught in English from a recognised institution, lasting at least two years at the undergraduate level or one year at the masters level, which can be evidenced by transcripts and/or certificates.

For standard entry you will need to have achieved a 3.0 GPA from a 4 year Bachelor degree.

For performance pathway you will need to have achieved a 2.2 GPA from a 4 year Bachelor degree.

For standard entry you will need to have achieved a 3 year Baccalaureat or a 4 year Bachelor degree with one of the following grades:

  • 3.1 GPA (out of 4.0)
  • 7/9
  • 9/12/li>
  • 73% (when pass mark is 50)
  • 78% (when pass mark is 60)
  • A lower requirement of 2.8 GPA (out of 4.0), 6.5/9 or final grade B, 72% (when pass mark is 60), 75% (when pass mark is 50) is accepted from a select number of institutions.
