Personally, courses in Coursera is really helpful for me. I can take my own time, it reminds me to complete. And I gained lot of new things from this courses.

great introduction to AI for the average person. Good insight into the issues we will face and ways we can use democratic ways to resolve and monitor.

This was a good an interesting course, covering a lot of the ethics and societal issues we should consider. It would benefit from having some of the writing assignments be more open-ended, asking for our thoughts and projections, just not a summary of the section. The grading could also be broader -- 0-5 points vs just 0 or 1. Some of the readings were useful. However, quite a few of them were not really accessible, requiring purchase at $30-$40, or simply didn't work. Neither is particularly helpful.

This course is worth understanding the importance of the ethics and societal challenges of AI, not only with regards to the technical point but also with regard to the philosophical and ethical side. This course justifies its name and has a great pace; perhaps I would have loved more of the technical part of solving these issues and not just the theoretical. But nonetheless, it was worth the time.

Ottimo corso per avere le basi di approfondimento. Manca a mio avviso una parte importante sulla sostenibilità ambientale. Nel complesso lo consiglio per un primo approccio al tema.

The logic using peer reviewed assignments is the worst that exists in the educational field. In many years of online courses, I am surprised that it is still used. It shows your laziness - you want to have a course to promote the university brand, but not want to spend effort to feedback. People pay for a subscription and then ask for a forum to evaluate their answer because they cannot receive a certificate without it. Do you think it's ok? Sorry, but I won't participate in this absurdity.

While there is some useful information in this course, there is also some misleading information. For example, in the section regarding Surveillance, there seems to be a bit of a scare tactic approach going on. There is also disinformation included. China does NOT have a "social credit system" and they do NOT use facial recognition in the way mentioned. Also, London and the UK have more CCTVs that either Beijing or Shanghai. There is demonstrated bias in this course.

The lessons are interesting but should be more bit-sized as information gets repetitive. The assignments are also not well-structured, asking for us to just share thoughts/summaries for every single task. Please look at varying how learners can test their knowledge or share their thoughts - it gets needlessly arduous and when trying to input via mobile app, the content becomes gibberish and I need to retype again on a laptop.
