Good High-level intro for AI which is useful for not only those unfamiliar with AI and how it works but also useful for engineers to see how AI relates to the business & when it makes sense to use AI.

An excellent introductory course to Artificial Intelligence, even for people who have been following the AI sphere for a long time. I've personally follow the AI space for many years now, but this course helped me to brush up on my basics again. Only criticism I have about the course is that Andrew NG while being an amazing lecturer and great at explaining things, pushes his conservative AI view too much. It's fine to tell people that you don't think AGI will happen soon, but to tell people that it's essentially a "waste of time" when many experts just as if not more qualified than Andrew NG say otherwise, makes it look again like a conservative agenda is being pushed, which has the adverse possibility of not preparing people well enough for a possible future. Also unfortunately as AI progresses extremely fast, at an exponential speed, some of the concepts in the course are outdated. For example, in the final week 4, Andrew NG talks about how the jobs most likely to be automated are "repetitive and mundane ones" but with the advent of LLMs, the job of plumbing seems to be much more secure from job automation than that of a programming in some senses.

Great introduction to AI and establish foundational knowledge. I learned a lot and feel more confident on the topic. The course audio was poor due to the microphone quality and sounding like in a fish bowl. The audio also was not consistent from one video to the other. To understand clearly I had to turn my volume up almost max volume, and I eventually also turned on subtitles.

This is a very good course for people who know very little or nothing about AI, but for someone with even a little bit of, this is a mildly useful refresher course to refer when they are building their own company.

Very good for beginners. Will be using a lot of the topics covered to talk to non-technical people about AI :) I've met too many people that think AI will turn into killer robots XD

i thought the content was good but the delivery was not particularly inspiring or engaging. Having one person talk to the camera for 4 hours is not the best learning experience. Needs some different modalities/interactions to mix it up a bit and keep learners engaged.

first of all, in the start it says free certificate but in the end its all about money to get the certificate. To get certificate we need to pass the quiz, but to play the quiz we need to pay. so over all we need to pay for the certificate.

Having recently completed the Deep Learning AI course on Coursera, I am thoroughly impressed and inspired by the knowledge and expertise I've gained throughout this journey. The course is meticulously designed, taking learners through a well-structured curriculum that starts with the basics and gradually delves into the depths of deep learning. The explanations are clear, and the practical examples and exercises effectively reinforce the concepts. What I appreciate most is the hands-on approach and the practical assignments that allow for immediate application of the learned theories. Building neural networks, working with real data, and fine-tuning models added a valuable layer of experiential learning. The instructors are exceptional, explaining complex topics in an engaging and comprehensible manner. Their passion for the subject matter shines through and motivates learners to dive deeper into the field. Furthermore, the integration of TensorFlow and Keras, popular and widely-used deep learning frameworks, into the course curriculum is a practical and forward-thinking choice. This course has not only equipped me with the skills needed for deep learning but has also fueled my enthusiasm to explore and contribute to this exciting field. I highly recommend the Deep Learning AI course on Coursera to anyone aspiring to master the intricacies of artificial intelligence and advance their career in this dynamic domain

I am currently listening to this professor's <AI For Everyone> online, and I have realized how important the ethical aspect is by watching him emphasize it. Artificial intelligence is a new energy source. The efficiency that cannot be compared to existing industries is because it saves resources. Therefore, artificial intelligence is a resource that attracts the future like a magnet by itself. Time manipulation. All resources have such properties. Human resources create more value and "temporal results" by working faster: 100 meters of farm land with one farmer is faster than ten farmers. Cows, tractors, drones are even faster, and vertical farms surpass all of these. Automated vertical farming is the one that one person can produce a million farm products (not exaggerating or joking). Additionally, it is possible to produce 24 hours a day, which far surpasses the concept of 3 or 4 harvests that traditional farming has. 12 or 24 harvests may also be possible. However, monopolistic IT or farming (or mixture of them) companies may do try restructuring the agricultural system through vertical farming, and it is the main reason why it is important to consider the ethical aspect of this. The ethical implications of AI and automation in agriculture should be carefully considered and addressed, in order to ensure that the benefits of these technologies are shared fairly and sustainably.

I recently completed the online course on "AI for Everyone" and I wanted to provide some feedback on my experience.

Firstly, the course content was excellent. It covered a wide range of topics related to artificial intelligence, from the basics to more advanced concepts. The material was presented in a clear and concise manner, making it easy to understand even for someone with limited knowledge in the field. The explanations were supplemented with practical examples, which helped to solidify the concepts.

The course structure was logical and well-organized. Each module built upon the previous one, gradually delving deeper into the subject matter. This approach allowed me to develop a strong foundation in AI and provided a smooth learning experience.

I particularly enjoyed the real-world case studies and examples shared throughout the course. They helped to demonstrate how AI is being used across different industries and showcased the potential impact it can have. These real-life examples made the course more engaging and relevant.

Overall, I found the online course on "AI for Everyone" to be informative and engaging. It provided a solid understanding of artificial intelligence and its applications. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning about AI, regardless of their background or expertise in the field.

The lecture for AI course as delivered by Mr Andrew was excellent. And explained beautifully and I understand that it is to sweep the world. Considering its bias possibility and adversary attacks, it is important to get it controlled through licensing or Government enforced guidelines process. Depending on the level of AI, like Robotics in the space, it is needed to be under full control of UN and respective government so that fruits of the Technology can be beneficial to humankind all over the world.

BBC documentary on world war II delineates destruction of humanity by people whose consciousness level could not be elevated. Nobody knows who is the enemy of the other side. Rishi Aurobindo who was the spiritual exponent died on 05 Dec, 1950 in his life-time was deeply meditating over the reason of the absence of compassion in some segment of the mankind. As theorized and practiced by Rishi Aurobindo - that consciousness level can be raised from inert matters and sees elevation to plant, animals, mankind and ultimately God through invoking of all-pervading divine forces and power. This principle if can be propagated to large mass of people will do good for the world along with evolution of AI.
