The professor is amazing at explaining things and I found it very easy to understand the content through the use of examples. However, I found it challenging to complete the quizzes because a lot of the questions are open answer rather than multiple choice and the answer isn't provided when you get the question incorrect. Therefore, if you don't grasp how to solve a problem, you're out of luck when the quiz resets and the questions are different. There's very little opportunity to learn for your mistakes and I found this difficult to deal with. I have no problem with questions being open answer but I think if when you fail the quiz and the questions are different on the quiz the next time you take it, the answer to the question should be revealed so students can work backward from the answer to see where they went wrong.

The professor is excellent. She explains difficult concepts in a clear, easy-to-understand way.

Like the course "Intro to Chemistry - Reactions and Ratios", the biggest problem is lack of proofing. The text of each video is full of errors because coursera simply runs the video through speech-to-text software without anyone proofreading the results. Unfortunately, occasional errors appear in the videos, too, which don't get corrected.

Tests are fair. At the end of the course, if you try for Honors, the test load is heavy. Week 6 quiz followed by Honors quiz followed by two final examinations.

I wish there were more guided examples for the math questions and I wish the quizzes showed rationales and how to work out the math problems. I would rather the questions and answers change up on the quizzes and have answer rationales and detailed steps for how to work out each problem.

Good course, the right level for me to complete and learn the basics. I feel I've learnt a lot and worked hard.

Initially, it seems like a fundamental course, but as you move on, it begins to interest the taker more and more.

This course helped me to develop so many skills such as scientific and numerical skills, excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Not only that but also this skills created a logical and independent mind. My patience and determination have improved as well.
