Great course, nice and clean presentation. Deserves the "intermediate" level. I used it to refresh my dsp knowledge from my bachelors many years ago and for this purpose the course is perfect.

This course was a great refresher after not working with DSP concepts for while. It also went beyond what I had learned in school with good explanations and extra insights.

This course is an adapted university course, and that is definetly what it feels like! It is well adapted to coursera, but expect an experience similar to a tough uni course, where you will have to take good notes for all the lectures, and solve difficult excercises each week. It's part of a series, so make sure to take all four courses if you like this one, they're clearly designed to be taken in extention of each other. Be sure to read the course information and resources thouroughly, they assume a certain amount of math and statistics knowlegde, but they also provide a self-assessment-quiz so you can see if you're ready to start the course, or if you should read up on the prerequisite areas first. The only reason I didn't give this course 5 starts is that it seems that active support dried up a few years ago. There are discussion forums full of useful questions and answers, but none of staff have replied for several years. I was luckily able to find the answers to my questions by reading the old answers from the staff and from helpful students of the past, but the experience can feel a little eirie - especially as I've been progressing through the follow-up courses with fewer and fewer active other students. It almost feels like the course died and I'm interacting with it's remains -- or like I'm walking through a mostly dead mall, where I can still look at all the stuff that used to be there, and there are still some stores open, but I can't quite experience it the way it was supposed to be experienced. None-the-less I learned a lot, and I found the professors quite cool and helpful in the pre-recorded lectures. Be sure to download the book that goes with the course, they tell you how under resources > textbooks.

I'm civil Engineer, I took this course to analyse ambient vibrations. Homeworks not enough and shoul be organized and assignment questions are may be easy but the enough education was not given to solve those easy questions Thank you

The content is very interesting, but the stuff covered in the vlogs does not reflect the complexity or encompass the range of some questions in the graded homeworks. Reading the textbook was essential.

Very intersting and apply course, accompanied by cool and comprehensive python demonstrations but sometimes it's overloaded with usefulless and complicated math.
