It is a good beginner course which introduced me to many new topics. Discussions are held regarding each topic after the lecture making it more interactive and engaging. The quizzes are good, but could be of a higher difficulty level.

I really enjoyed this course, Professor Shiller is very motivating. The most thing I love about this course is that Professor Shiller enforces the ultimate goal of this course is using finance effectively and towards a better society.

Robert Shiller is an excellent professor. He had touched on so many areas of finace. In his closing remarks, he gave the timeline of personal finance as 100 years. He is absolutely right, In 100 years everything changes completely.

Excellent course, really wanted to learn the concepts behind the financial markets I should have learned in school and I accomplished this goal. This knowledge is very updated although the course had couple years. Highly recommended.

This course has proven to be extremely beneficial, offering a wealth of knowledge and practical skills. Additionally, the professor's teaching style and engaging lectures make the subject matter even more intriguing and captivating.

A very good broad course with a lot of historical background information as well. Some parts could be updated or commented on by the pop-ups e.g. the interest rate environment has changed quite a bit since this course was launched.

This is a good course for people who don't know finances. Learning tecniques and programme is perfect but it needs to be updated:

-Currencies and Crypto currencies.

-Evergrande crisis in China

-Influence of COVID on finances.

Before this course I didn't have much knowledge about Finance but this course made me learn new things about finance and markets. Also Prof. Shiller is one of the coolest professors in the World. Thank You So Much Yale and Coursera.

Good course to learn about behavioral finance. I’m so surprised about the knowledge of Professor Robert Shiller, here goes one of my favorite phrases: “Finance is not about getting rich, it is about making civilization work better.”

It was a very good and well programmed course. I learned a lot from the course and would further like to enroll for other such courses. The professor also taught very professionally and I understood each and every word he explained.

The course is extremely useful in understanding the basics of financial markets. I would recommend this for everyone who doesn't have a formal training or exposure to the working of financial markets. Professor Shiller is excellent!

The topics discussed were incredibly crucial for me to learn. Though, I must admit, Professor Shiller's methods of explanation of those topics were SOMETIMES a bit crude (but that's mostly due to his old age, which is acceptable!).

I think that I invested my time very well in taking this course. I learned so much. I liked the student´s forums. I think that if I had a textbook as a reference or complement it would help me out so much to answer the quiz easier.

One of the best course on coursera... Proff sheller was an amazing teacher and he makes complex theories and terminologies so easy to understand. Would definitely refer this course to people who are interested in financial markets
