I really liked the course and the contents are great. Except for the language problem, everything else is very good, and really enjoyed learning from peers and instructors. Thank you for the platform.

Too basic, especially when considering "it was written from PhD students for PhD students". The course lacks substance and the advice is too general and intuitive (for master of PhD students which of course as mentioned is the targeted audience of this course). I would much rather recommend "Writing in the Sciences" - this is what this course should have been (however note that that writing in the sciences is teaches principles through medical articles).

I didn't find what In was looking for in this course and I have changed my mind about finishing it, the title indicates that I am going to get detailed education on writing an essay but the content is only about general definitions in this area. If you as a reader are interested in a course for re ally learning how to get better in writing your essays I recommend taking the " Getting Started with Essay Writing" course.

I higly recommend to revise the scoring rubrics for the assignment -checklist. I dont see it fare to give between 75 and 100 for the score to the fact that we made an effort doing the checklist better to other options such as 80 or 85 orchange the checlist instead since wehave different style in making a checklist. Thanks and more power still a good and interesting course

It was difficult to understand some video lessons due to the pronunciation of the words. It shouldn't be so hard to re-record when you do not pronounce a word properly. I was expecting that this course would be better

A laughable course and very poorly prepared, almost a complete waste of time if not for the final exercise

Something I found good about this course were the interviews, it was very helpful. But this was maybe the only helpful thing. They talk about the important of proper written English but I think proper spoken English and good articulation and pronunciation are important. Often the articulation was so bad that the transcript generator didn't even understand or understood incorrectly. On the content: there was a lot of repetition and they didn't go into much detail on how to actually write and publish a manuscript. On top of that where the references outdated. This course was definitely not worth the money I spent. A better course that goes into more detail and gives you actually helpful insights is the Writing in the Sciences Course (Stanford).
