I was happy to have completed the course, as it was 4 weeks of a lot of study and many hours of dedication. But be disappointed with the Certificate, because it came as a course with credits not authorized by Illinois University and this left me disappointed for further studies. Since Illinois has partnered with Coursera, they could issue the certificate as an authorized and valid course recognized by Illinois University.

The course is excellent but there are problems with grades. Whatever you do, you cannot get more than 80%. In some cases, some answers are marked wrong while they are correct in order that grage doe not become more than 80%.

Course is very focused on production environment with little context or application within a services environment. Quiz questions are very detailed and involve minutia as opposed to focusing on broader concepts presented in the course. The inventory module is very dry with specific focus and use for those professionals who wish to pursue a procurement focus in a manufacturing environment with little use or application for those interested in a broad understanding of inventory and the impact on the organization. By far the least enjoyable course I have completed to date in the iMBA program.

This Course on Operations and Supply Chain Decision and Metrics by Professor MR. Great course on supply/value chain management. Supply chain and continuous improvement concepts were greatly explained. Case studies and real time implementation of the concepts at industry level were really helpful to understand the concepts.
