I really enjoyed the course and the lecture as someone who has never written a single line of code, i feel like this course was designed for me, thank you coursera and Mr Severance.

Good intro into programming with python, really fun teacher and nice examples. Only drawback is that some videos cut short; however this doesn't affect the lecture or understanding.

I must say this course is so helpful to learn from scratch now i feel confident i can learn programming thank you so much coursera, university of michigan, dr. chuck and whole team.

Dr. Chuck is a great teacher and his teaching method is very impressive. Dr. Chuck made this course very easy. I recommend this course to anyone with a basic knowledge of computers.

Dr. Chuck was awesome. I liked that he didn't read a script and was a lot like college professors I've had in the past. Definitely feel like I have a solid foundation to build upon.

If you're interested in Python use this. He applies real-life problems to illustrate what he means and even includes mini problems that are simple, but challenging within the video.

Charles Severance is one of the best teachers I've come across online. In this course he introduces python to beginners and demonstrates that programming is, in fact, for everybody.

The Professor was a good teacher, maintaining a good balance between stopping boredom and at the same time ensuring that we were learning all the time. A very good beginning course.
