Good course to take to refresh your resume skills and/or help revamp your resume completely. BUT, very frustrating having to wait for assignments to be marked by peers. I have been waiting up to 3-4 days for my assignments to be marked and as a result I cancelled my subscription.

Easyest course of the specializaton. No worth if you miss other courses of the spec.

His content was good. I liked the way he focused on the point of the resume is to get you the interview. He also did a good job at trying to get you to think about what the employer wants and developing your resume accordingly. The assessments could use improvement. The questions and answers were worded in a confusing manner. And the peer reviews were dependent on having peers available to review your work or having work for you to review, which delayed my progress. For a course like this, there should be straight forward assessments that test your understanding of the content, and I think there is room for improvement here.

Lots of good info, but a bit heavy to get through without feeling overwhelmed. Job hunting is an exhausting task in itself, so I was missing some uplifting bite-size elements to keep me motivated to implement the things suggested in this course. The overall feeling of the course was that it's a bit outdated, but the material is useful.

First of all let me clear one thing with all my honesty: I came here just to get certificate and little bit know how of resume, BUT the quality content and remarkably shocking strategies forced me to take all lectures. I tried all my best not to miss any single word of this God blessed tutor, sir please keep sharing this talent and valuable knowledge.

Thank you so much sir!

Lastly, I am highly thankful to COURSERA and of course to this TUTOR, for having this available-via financial aid- to person's like me who can't get these valuable lectures due to money barriers.

Thanks again!

It is probably the best course that can take to learn resume and cover letter writing. Being a resume writer I learned that a lot of things I did were wrong. This course provided me with so many tools and information. Thanks to the instructor. A suggestion I have is that to add a section where you explain the CV format used outside the US (for all purposes) and that will cover almost everything regarding resume writing. All in all, I am very satisfied with the content of the course

Of all the years of me updating my own resume, I thought I was on the top of my game. This course is reich with information, and basically performs a majority percentage of the work at getting the job. The interview is made easiere because of this course. The presenter, Charles Duquette, was informative and looked the part. Now I have to go shopping and upgrade my vest collection!!

This was a good class. It was more challenging than I expected so I was a little thrown off. However, it is a self-paced class and you are able to re-take quizzes within a certain time period in order to improve your quiz score, but it must be 80% or higher to pass each quiz. The information is very helpful in writing resumes and cover letters according to the job market in today's century.

I have been working in the same industry for 25 years when the pandemic struck. This course was exactly what I needed to revamp my resume and start looking for a new career path. It answered all of the questions I had about how to create a modern resume. The guidance on cover letters and notes has reminded me of job search etiquette that I had forgotten.

Thank you
