The course explains the fundamentals of digital marketing and social media marketing in an understandable and well-organized manner. However, key industry updates are missing from the course. You won't find the following here: - Youtube advertising - 0 mentions about TikTok - Influencer marketing topic is quite outdated - No word about carousel formats trending now on Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok - Outdated Twitter info (currently X) - No info about Instagram Threads - No info about digital product placement - No info about GDPR and Apple's privacy policy updates affecting tracking users - No info about how to work with audiences that use ad blockers - No mention of ad sentiment - how each type of ad is perceived by audiences, what is considered spammy/unreliable. Good for someone who's just starting, lack of depth for specialists having some experience. Regardless of the students' previous experience in digital marketing, the course needs to be updated ASAP.

The course was fine, but it is very confusing as to how to complete a section and how to get your certificate. On the page, it says that everything is complete, but on the Coursera page, it says that I am only 98% complete. If I only want to do the one course, how do I get the certificate of completion for it? Very confusing compared to other courses I've taken on Coursera.

I love everything about the course what I didn't enjoy that much is the peer assignments and gradings.

This was a good introductory course. I marked it low because of the Peer review section. I was stuck at the last chapter + section and couldn't' move forward as it kept asking "please review more peer projects." Even after reviewing 80 peers projects it kept asking me to review more... sorry I don't have time to review 100s of assignments - please improve this section as this was the reason I didn't complete it. ALSO this course kept missing some of my assignments after I posted the assignment days ago.
