Great content! Well paced. Videos and readings are helpful. The class concludes with a 4 week challenge designed to make a lasting impact, which I found very insightful. I highly recommend this class.

It is a highly recommended course, both for people and students who work in the field of psychology or human sciences as well as for any type of person. The fact that the information, techniques and strategies in this course help you to improve your subjective state of well-being and happiness is a compelling enough reason to enroll.

This course is a wonderful experiment in improving the happiness of students who take the course. I learned a lot and the course is backed with good science. If you think you can improve your live, you should take this course. My main take away from this course was gratitude journaling and a small improvement to my overall happiness.

I didn't know what to expect from this course but I have to say that it has been wonderful week after week learning all these new tools to becoming a happier person. It takes patience and practice but I am positive I will be able to take some of the thing that I have learned into my daily life and be a happier person because of them.

This is an excellent, science-based, approach to increasing personal happiness. The lectures are informative and engaging. I especially liked that the lectures were recorded in person with a live class, because I find that this is much more effective in communicating ideas compared to when a teacher is reading a script to a camera.

The course really helps you to form healthy habits that you have been wanting to implement in your life, it teaches and encourages you to make the time, it teaches prioritising things that personally make you happy, it teaches that sometimes it’s okay to choose sleep over cramming for an exam, or seeing friends over doing home work.

I always considered myself a happy person but this class has made me even happier. It reinforced some concepts I have heard elsewhere (meditate, workout, be grateful) and introduced me to new concepts (taking time people on Bart. Still hard to believe but will try it). Recommended to many friends and family members. May take again n

It was a life changer. I used to life live missing the important moments because I was so busy. Now I savor every day and enjoy life. I will never go back to not appreciating life again. My happiness level is so much higher than before. I am even teaching my two middle schoolers what I learned, I totally recommend this course.

This course has been truly fascinating. Not only did I learn a great deal of information about what drives happiness (I loved the lecture on neuroscience) but the course provided the tools and strategies to help identify and establish new habits. Prof. Santos is an engaging and relatable lecturer which made the course even more fun.

I can't thank you enough. While taking this course I did a few changes in all aspects of my life and my happiness and sense of contentment have drastically improved. As per the test we take my points were in around 5 which are ow bumped up by 3 points almost in all areas. Again thanks a lot for offering this course.

I am loving the course. It's structured nicely with a mix of examples, practical ideas to test out, reasons behind the suggestions. The professor is engaging and knowledgeable. I appreciate her honesty of, "I am not an expert here and the reason/example of why this is okay." I appreciate that this is available to the general public.

I absolutely loved it and would recommend it to everybody ("even if they think they're doing well enough"), the open interactions made me feel like I was a part of the actual class.

Great material and a well paced course. I was engaged by the very human academic from the word go and found the way she introduced and then analysed topics fascinating. Great throughout. Also as a facilitator myself I have learned a few things both from her and also from the simple yet effective the way the course was presented.

I really liked the Science of Well-Being course. As a scientist, I was surprise how much effort was made to explore a topic such as happiness and how to increase it. Laurey gave very interesting lessons and I feel as I was almost in the room with her. I also really like a lot the "no wrong answer for this question" within the test.

I Love this course. It really gets me to thinking of all factors in life, how and what minor changes need to be made to help us perceive the world in a better form/state. This course increased my happiness and life satisfaction. I highly recommend it! I learned to commit to more reasonable goals, and the ReWi app helps me stay on track. I also learned that I can meditate and it does help me in many ways. I plan to keep using these techniques, including the powerful WOOP technique, in my daily life.

The course uses recent research in positive psychology to talk about "miswanting", illusions about success and happiness. It provides realistic ways to work on one's well being. Practicing new forms of behaviour like gratitude and savoring resulted in feeling more positive about life. It certainly changed my priorities in life.

It has been the best course that has literally been life-changing for me. I have turned myself completely around. I found the love of my life and improved my mental well-being. This course definitely changed my perspective on happiness and what living well means to me. I took a lot of what we learned and applied it to my real daily living, which is essentially the point. The lectures were engaging, informative, and I enjoyed the visual aspects she added. I would take a class of hers again in a heartbeat!

This course was well worth the time, especially during the pandemic. It allowed me to refocus on the correct behaviors that will improve my happiness and how to let go of other behaviors and thoughts that may take away from it. The course had the perfect mix of lecture, reading and practice time to achieve a positive end result.

I think that the lecturer and presentation style of online courses can really make or break them and Laurie was fantastic. Engaging, authentic and knowledgable!
The course content is fascinating and I think that everyone, not just those with an interest in the subject matter could benefit from trying a little rewirement challenge.

I was listening to The Happiness Lab podcast while doing this course which really make me remember the theories and points behind human behaviour and how we can raise our awareness and rewire our thinking and habits towards happier and healthier life. I learn't a lot about how i think and what my brain is telling me. There are good ideas and strategies contained within this course - lots of practical tips as well. I found it quite thought provoking and plan to re-visit the ideas going forward. I would definitely recommend if you want to start thinking differently about life.

This was a great course and it allow for me to rewire and remind myself what true happiness is really about and it's more about what we do and not what we have. the instructor was great and the scientific experiences used was excellent. I truly enjoyed this part of the journey and look forward to taken another one of her courses.

Better than I had hoped for. Loved the learning along the way, took copious notes and most importantly, the rewirement activities remain in place and the joy of completing these daily tasks are worth savouring.
