This course was really interesting! I loved it. The teacher was amazing and very engaging. And it was my first time doing peer-graded assignments, i was scared but i did it and i'm so proud of myself.

The topic we discussed was very interesting, it achievesan introespection and selfquestioning in whoever works it.
I was glad to see the changes and achievements that I have had and now I am working an other change.
And it has been intereting to see that other around me have been interested in changes and have asked me to share the link to take the course.

I found the class very helpful in learning new skills to use daily to help boost happiness and feelings of well-being. I really enjoyed the daily rewirement exercises and know that they helped me find more happiness in being present in my life. I highly recommend this course. I have recommended it to others who have also taken it and found it helpful as well.

It is important to have an attitude of gratitude. This course provides scientific studies to prove that happiness starts from within. You DO have ultimate control of how happy you are. Prof. Santos presents the information in an engaging way that makes you want to learn more, do more and be more. Thank you for making this course available for all to enjoy.

This was the fantastic course I started during Covid because it was free and our school Shut down! Then I got busy with all the things and School and I had put this on the back burner, but I wanted to finish it so I did. I was disappointed when I couldn’t get my certificate because I thought it was free. I didn’t realize it changed and you had to pay for it,

I loved this course! It gave me good tips on how to achieve happiness and the things we think will make us happy, but really don't. It helped me understand that my behavior was human behavior and what strategies I can use to counteract my normal, human behavior. I will be coming back to review and remind myself and use the strategies to be happy! Thank you!!

Enlightening and interesting, this course helped me tremendously in my pursuit of happiness. The mist important takeaway is the rewirements, we can change our lives for the better by changing a few small things, that led to even greater happiness. It is also wonderful to see the validation that taking care of yourself creates more self happiness. Thank you!!

Learning "The Science of Well Being" was a mind opener and reassured most of my current practices lead towards peace and happiness in and around me. It was thoroughly enjoyable and Laurie Santos and the team were quite engaging. Will definitely recommend to anyone seeking knowledge on being happy whilst setting the right goals in leading a successful life.

This is a great course that I would thoroughly recommend to anyone and everyone. The professor is very engaging and there is enough discussion with her students to clear up most questions. The things that are learned on the course can be practised at home and if taken seriously can change your life. I am very pleased I took this course and you should too.

This course really helped me learn to discipline myself and dedicate the right amount of effort to achieving the goals that would essentially make me happy. I am about 12% happier by completing this course. In addition, I learned of scientific evidence that has come to show that a lot of what we think we know about what makes us truly happy is in fact false!

This course has helped me find happiness in the little things again. I'd been feeling a bit down and self conscious, and now I'm able to stop, think, appreciate, admire life again. When I'd go on a hike, instead of thinking about what comes next, I'd focus on living in the now, and all the things around me to be grateful more. I highly recommend this course.

The course provides learners with research and tools to maximise their own well-being, as well as to assess where "Happiness" and its definition is subjective and contingent on personal thoughts, observations, choices and influences. Understanding all the internal and external factors that affect happiness or inner peace, is a universal tool needed by all.

Prof Laurie Santos does a remarkable job in this presentation with lots of references and techniques to support her Course. Having students participating turned me off initially but then I realized that the Q&A sessions revealed depth and added to the learning.
The interviews were outstanding and very useful. The learning readings are great! wonderful course.

I really enjoyed the course and I thought the professor was engaging, articulate and interesting. I would strongly recommend the course to anyone who is interested in understanding happiness as it helps with myth debunking and gives you a solid set of tools to change your self and your happiness. My first Coursera course too which was really cool. Thank you.

Great course, 1. the educators are inspiring, engaging and highly-knowledgable.
2. the online course is easy to follow, easy to commit to
3. the fact that it is a hands on course, pushing you to push yourself (if you want to), is a great deeping on the knowledge obtained.
This isn't course that just makes you think, it also makes you do! I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed learning about the science of well-being and happiness from Dr. Laurie Santos. As a fan of her podcast, I knew that she wouldn't disappoint me. But I came away with a newfound appreciation for things like sleep and savouring that can help me and my level of happiness.

This is an excellent course and teaches so many ways to enhance everyday wellbeing. The methods, Rewirement challenges, etc. are mostly doable and that is a great thing because it ensures adherence to challenges and tasks. The WOOP method is great. Every single part of the course has been useful and none of it was boring, everything was presented very well.

I enjoyed every minute of the course, because I feel it concentrates the current knowledge on wellbeing in an organized set of lectures with a very charismatic professor and truly appealing topics.
I believe it was a great investment of time in these 10 weeks and I strongly recommend it to my friends, for them to take advantage of all the benefits it brings.

The course renewed a number of things but mainly helped me focus on things that would increase my satisfaction with the things I do. As well as helping me reduce the frustrating gap between unrealistic aspirations on the way to achieve a sense of happiness and what I really have in my life, which is enough to live a life of satisfaction and quality of life.

I truly enjoyed the approach to being mindful of ones own well-being and the well-being of others. As a school psychologist this something that I practice and preach to student and staff and I am happy to see it being taught to others to aid in helping us to be better for ourselves and for others. Happiness makes our World better and we are better for it.

This course was really interesting. It combined videos with active discussion of questions, reading and simple steps to make changes to old way of thinking. It makes you realize there is so much more to being happy. I truly believe the rewirements are something I will continue to incorporate into my daily life to improve my overall happiness and well being.

Laurie was very engaging and I can say that I learned why there are elements in my life that do and don't make me happy and at the same time was able to develop strategies that will assist me going forward. I also learned a number of useful strategies that I can now share with my students - a wonderful activity to complete during this time of the pandemic!

I truly enjoyed learning the scientifically proven method for happiness. Professor Laurie was a sweet and well engaging lecturer. She used a lot of charts and graphs which made it easier to understand. The course also changed my perception. I never knew simple steps can be taken to achieve happiness. I highly recommend everyone to try it out! Best of luck.

This is a truly fantastic course. Professor Santos is really great and has a lot of empathy. The course videos and other material is also really fantastic. But beyond all that, is the content - so valuable for our daily life. BTW, the ReWi app is also fantastic and very handy to keep track of our activities.
