This course was really interesting! I loved it. The teacher was amazing and very engaging. And it was my first time doing peer-graded assignments, i was scared but i did it and i'm so proud of myself.

It is not a course for many I hope its a way of life. I must thank prof Laurie Santos, the way she explained various known topics but not implemented by all of us. Interesting facts, motivating,makes you put healthy actions into practice,the teacher explains all the things in interesting waythat makes you not only listen and understand but put into practice the things you learn. I took this course at the start of our Stay Home order due to the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to distract and better myself. What a rewarding experience this has been. As my first online class, I was thoroughly impressed with the content material and the teaching style of Professor Laurie Santos. This was the best 10-week investment I've made.

This course provided a little focus and self reflection during the stay at home orders. I found myself exploring my own beliefs about happiness and truly feel I have a stronger foundation and some real work to do to continue this journey. I highly recommend others take the course to explore their own thoughts about happiness and well-being.

This is totally accessible for all academic levels and skill sets. Laurie introduces basic cognitive strategies to overcome our mental biases that inhibit our success, namely the ability to stick at positive habits that will bring us happiness.
This course has a great mixture of academic content and practical tools that everyone can work with.

This course was really useful for me. I have gained so much insight into my own well being that I can pass it on to others. Being an educator, I think , I can use the concepts of nudging, savoring and WOOP with my students. In schools, we concentrate on imparting knowledge to our kids, but we don't teach them to be happy. Thanks Prof. Santos.

Aside from being a Yale course, this is very practical at this time of the pandemic when my mental health had suffered even when I couldn't find the stressor. It is interesting to note that there is a science behing happiness and achieving real happiness is not that hard. I am particularly interested with all the research studies mentioned.

Fantastic way to improve how you look at the "small" things in life, that actually makes you happy. I think everyone should attend this course. Thank you for the Professor too, she is just as cool as I remember all my Profs from the time I studied Psychology. What is it about Psychologyst?:)Really recommend it. Thank you for the opportunity!

This course enlightened me on searching for meanings for life to become a truly happy person and further offer instructions towards next step. In addition, I connected with other people who also searching for happiness of life and join their communities. Grateful to have taken this course during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was full of research based information that supported activities to help with well-being. My favorite part was meeting via Zoom with a group we created of family members ages 28 to 78 who took the course with me. We discussed our rewirement activities and the weekly content.

The instructor delivers great material and is a pleasure to listen to. I was hesitant going into a course that would reflect on my own well being, but was extremely impressed by the course content and impact it had on my life during the length of the course! I will be moving forward not only with course material but further Coursera classes.

This is a wonderful course that will show you life skills for adopting healthy habits as well as the scientific reasoning behind them. I found the lectures and assignments very engaging and unlike some courses where it is hard to make the time to sign in and complete work, I actually looked forward to spending time on the course each week.

I think this is a course all should take to really understand what does it mean to be very happy, really happy, to know the real happiness. It's a b2/c1 level in my opinion, while during this in fact I've made a certification that I passed. If you want to know something about how boost your happiness, well this is the right place. Really helped with my mental well being. Helped me reevaluate my priorities and helped me refocus my goals. I learned how to ween myself off social media and using it as a tool for giving my life value. Really great course for learning your strengths, putting them into practice, and rewiring your mind to incorporate these into our lives.

I would recommend this class for everyone. It really helps to focus on what's important. I started becoming more social by talking to strangers and reconnecting with friends. It's really helped me to feel more powerful which was a great side effect to working on happiness. Meditating every day has allowed me to be more patient and calm.

Great course, with quality content. Very easy to keep up but even easier to implement the happiness practices. Highly recommend this! It was a breeze to complete during the quarantine and it helped me focus on an Abundance or Growth Mindset as opposed to a fixed or scarcity mindset in the middle of this pandemic and global economic crisis.
