"I was an economist but I was feeling burnt out and I wanted to learn something new. I started to spend time before and after work on Coursera to learn Python and I was able to transition to a new job as a Python and Django developer. I learned that the only thing stopping us from changing our lives and getting what we want is ourselves. With Coursera, you can learn the skills you need to change your career. "

A career learning path is a set of curated courses that together comprise a learning plan for achieving the skills necessary to land a specific role, and launch and advance a specific career.
We work with experts in a given career field to understand the skills needed, and with our own career and content teams to ensure we're recommending the right courses to help learners achieve their career goals and learn the right skills.
Time to completion varies based on your schedule and experience level, but based on the experience of other learners, you can expect to complete all the courses in a learning path in about 6-8 months.
If you are interested in taking multiple courses in a career learning path, we recommend Coursera Plus, a subscription plan that provides unlimited access to over 3000+ courses. Visit the Coursera Plus page to make sure the courses you plan to take are included, and to learn more about how you can save money on your learning with a subscription model.
You will earn shareable Certificates for each course, Guided Project, Specialization, or Professional Certificate that you complete as a part of a career learning path. You do not earn a separate certificate for the career path itself. If you are interested in earning credit that can count toward a degree program, we encourage you to explore a MasterTrack™ Certificate or degree program offering on Coursera.
We’re working hard to develop more career learning paths based on the needs of learners on Coursera and we’d love to get your feedback. Please fill out this brief survey to suggest a career learning path you’d like to see offered.
